Just ah hookin!

 I have spent most of the day crocheting. I do not find it very relaxing still.

I tended to the birds today. I filled the feeders for  them so they had something to eat. I put my 40 pounds of sunflower seeds in a container on the porch that is just perfect. It is actually a large planter that I've put a top on to use for an end table, and the 40 pounds fit right down inside it perfectly.

It has been cold today. I've had to turn the heat earlier today, just for a short time. My feet are really cold, but it's almost 9 o'clock and I don't want to turn my heat back on because I'm going to crawl into bed soon.

I've already had my shower and I've just been sitting here crocheting and watching Judge Judy reruns. There is just nothing on television that interests me.

Fleta stopped by for a while today after work. It was nice to see her since she didn't stop yesterday.

I made Spanish rice today, so that's what I've eaten. I just love Spanish rice. I did have my protein drink this morning. I've also had a few cups of coffee.

I have some dirty dishes in the sink. I need to load them into the dishwasher because there's nothing in the dishwasher. It's not a lot of items, but I just don't want to do it.

I was thinking about trimming up my hair today, but I didn't get it done. I usually go out on the porch when I do it so the hair just flies away. That way, I don't have to clean up a mess in the house.

I spoke to Bill for just a minute today. He was still working out in his shop, getting things moved around. It looks so big. I just know he's going to love it once he gets all of his equipment in there, plus he still has the other shop for storage, so that will make a big difference.

I called and got an appointment to see the eye doctor on March 14. This would just be for an examination to see if I can get cataract surgery. I hope I can while I still have the better insurance. I found out my insurance plan is going to be discontinued in July. I was very upset by that, but I'll get over it. My right eye sometimes sees spider legs or a mouse running across the floor, which isn't really anything, just out of the corner of my eye. And when I close my eyelid, sometimes I see a black spot. The eye doctor told me a year ago that I had a cataract and that within a year, I would probably have to have it operated on, so hopefully, I can get that done before too long.
