I went to bed last night and completely forgot to post. I may post twice today just to make up for it.
Bill got his new tire machine set up in his shop yesterday. A buddy of his bought it, basically so he could use it too. It's a really nice-looking piece of equipment. That's just nice to have, but not absolutely necessary. Since Bill didn't have to pay for it, it's a big bonus.
It's turned colder again. I think we'll have this weather for a while, but maybe most of the cold weather is about over. Let's hope so.
My oldest granddaughter will be having a birthday in a few days on the 10th. I'm not sure what today is, but she will be 26 years old. I remember the day she was born just like yesterday. That first night in the hospital, I stayed with her and her mother, and I held her all night. The next morning, where she lay her head on my arm, that side of her head was flat. I thought she was the most beautiful baby. She still is beautiful, such a good mother.
I went outside yesterday and burned some of the grass that had grown up around my tomato bed. I'm anxious for spring to come. The only thing I really plant in the garden is tomatoes. I just love them. Everything else seems to take up a lot of room. I looked in my freezer yesterday and I only have about four bags of tomatoes left. I froze them this last yIt was so much easier than canning.
I think I'll go outside this morning and set up my bird feeders. I still need to find a place to hide the seeds, but I think I have a spot. I will post another update this afternoon. Let me see if I can find a picture
