But it will start getting cold again tonight!
I certainly took advantage of the warm weather today. It was in the 60s, but it was quite overcast. It looked like it was going to be 30° outside.
I tilled up my tomato garden and pulled the weeds and grass. I have this little electric tiller that I bought two years ago and I just love it. All the tools I have need to be electric anymore because I just cannot pull-start anything. The ones that are electric never have as much power as the gas-operated ones, but it doesn't matter how much power it has if you can get it started.
After tilling up the garden, I cleaned up a lot in the yard. There was stuff thrown everywhere. It still does not look the best. I have several limbs that are down in the yard. They are all dead, so I imagine I can lift them even though they're pretty big, but I did not mess with that today. I worked outside for four hours straight. When I came back in, I took a shower and my knees hurt so bad I could hardly move.
I have several birds coming to my bird feeders. I just filled them yesterday. I have not fed any this winter and it takes them a little while to find the feed. The squirrel s will probably find it tomorrow. Ha
I fixed myself a little lunch. I spent the remainder of the day pretty much lying under the heated throw.
About two hours ago, I decided to pick up my crocheting again. And I've done several rows on that. This little blanket is going to be really cute.
Betty's granddaughter, Greta, went to a dance last night and she looked so pretty. I'm going to try to post a picture of her. She is only 13 and one talented little basketball player. Plus, she is just so sweet. She reminds me a little of Lex.
After working outside, I have drunk a lot of water today. And I'm going to take two more Ibuprofen tonight, and hopefully I'll be able to walk better in the morning.
It sure did feel good to get the outside cleaned up though.
I just now looked at my messages and I had one from Bill. He has a car up on a lift in his new shop. I wonder if this is the first one that's been up there, so I've got to post that picture. I'm so proud. Oh, he wanted me to look at his new ride, not his lift. He bought it for a steal. It needs a head gasket, but that's not a problem for him to fix.
