Has arrived, and I'm relieved that January is behind us. Hopefully, the worst of the winter weather is over. It's been a productive day for me. I baked three Cornish hens and prepared delicious stuffing. I had to go to town to purchase margarine and celery for the dressing, but it was a worthwhile trip. I also made two pans of cinnamon rolls, one of which I'll be taking to Betty's tomorrow, and I gave the other to Fleta.
I thoroughly cleaned my kitchen, taking out the trash, sweeping the floor, and running the dishwasher. I've wiped down the counters and surfaces. Additionally, I exercised for 30 minutes today and have gathered all the items I need to take to Betty's tomorrow, which are now waiting by the front door. Unfortunately, the microphone on my tablet is not functioning well tonight.
I'm sitting in my massage chair, trying to alleviate the discomfort in my back. It seems my back was slightly out of alignment, causing numbness in my left leg. I'll spend an hour in the chair, allowing the massage to work its magic and help restore proper alignment.
Bill shared some new photos with me today, showcasing the progress on his workshop project. It looks like he's installed a working water supply and a pressure washer, which appears to be a new and improved model with a roll-up feature on the wall. The space is really starting to take shape.
Kimberly was on-site, working on installing something. It seems they were headed to Lowe's to return some items and purchase additional supplies. Hopefully, the items they're returning will cover the cost of the new purchases, making it a balanced transaction.
I'm looking forward to visiting Betty's tomorrow. She is giving me 42 fresh eggs for me, which is a great deal since eggs in this area cost $6 to $7 per dozen. Fleta overheard me mention picking up the eggs, so now I'll have to split them with her. While that's a bit disappointing, I'm still grateful for the opportunity to get such a good price on high-quality eggs.
I'll see if I can post a couple of pictures.
