The weekend has come around again

 Fleta was off today. She did not have to work. Of course since it’s the weekend, she’ll have the next two days off.

Sunday morning I’m gonna go down to Betty‘s. It’ll be nice to get away from the house and go somewhere. I always love a little drive. My car has just been running great. Thank you kids for all you do for me.

Well, I spoke to Amanda and McKenzie both today just for a few minutes. It is nice to know everyone’s doing OK. Mackenzie went over and cleaned Austin’s house for his birthday present.. His birthday Was December 15, but he just decided to collect this month.

Bill has been moving stuff into his shop. He is so proud that he got his urinal installed. He doesn’t have any water in there yet. The urinal is not gonna be in a room. It’s just hanging on the wall, not even over in a private area, I don’t think. He is so proud of it. It is stainless steel I will post a picture of it. I told him I wanted a picture of it to put on my blog. He is excited about having one. I just think it is so funny. 

Maybe later on he’ll put up a half wall around it or something. I would think plenty of people are gonna get a laugh out of this.

I’m gonna roast three Cornish hens tomorrow. I intend to keep one at my house, Send one to Fleta’s, and I’ll take one to Betty’s on Sunday. I have frozen soup to take to Betty’s also. Betty doesn’t cook very much now. She’ll go out and buy anything you want to eat. As soon as Olive Garden gets in, that’s where I’m gonna have her start taking me. But it hasn’t gone up yet.

I’m really going down there so she can help me with my crocheting. I’m wanting to learn a new stitch. I don’t know if you would call it the Chevron stitch or the zigzag stitch. But she knows how to do it. I have a video that shows how to do it, but I was having a little trouble.. 

I made Spanish rice today. That is one of my favorite things to eat.For some reason, I got the idea that it might be good to put corn in it. It was not good. I guess I could put that in a container and take to Betty‘s chickens. They love the canned corn.

I did a couple of loads of laundry today. And re-washed my Bedding. I think I had already washed it one day this week but I thought oh well I’ll do it again.

The weather has really warmed up a great deal from a couple of weeks ago. So I do not have that to complain about right now. I did go out and look at my car today, remember I washed it while it was raining. Sure Enough it dried spotless.

My kitchen is pretty clean. After I cook tomorrow, I will run the dishwasher and get it emptied before I go see Betty on Sunday.It’s always nice to come home to clean house. 

We had a commercial airplane and a helicopter collide in mid air 2 days ago. This happened over the Potomac river.  67 people died. No one survived. I just do not know how this could happen. It seems they were just not paying attention.  I try not to watch the news but there are so many headlines on the net. You could drive yourself into deep depression if you read and watched everything that is going on these days. Surely the end of times must be close.
