Last Day of Spring Break...

The kids have been off school all week but the weekend is now here and they will go back to school next week.

Kris has left for work and the 2 little ones are the only ones up so far. Kris has left them school work to do this morning. It worked out well yesterday. We will see how they do today.

I have a cake baking. We are going to make some little bunny things for Easter.  Well they are Easter things but I am sure they will eat them now.

It looks like rain today but maybe it will just clear off. I hope so.

Kenzie was feeling much better yesterday. It has taken her quiet a while. She had been getting very tired ever evening.

I have got to get a package ready to mail home but I have not sorted everything out yet. I also want to put a piece of material over a bad spot on Mom's brown quilt. It had gotten ripped. This is a quilt Mom made for me years ago and she pieced it all by hand. well one of the center pieces is ripped. I looked in Kris's material stash and she has just the right shade of brown and I am fixing it before I leave or it will fall apart. As a matter of fact ....That is what I am going to do right now!

Look Out!!! A Sunny Day...

It has been a pretty day today.

I have cleaned my room and I did several loads of laundry for Kris.
Kris has to work tomorrow and Friday but today her and the kids are cleaning out the RV. Darrel says he is getting rid of it soon. It is one of those big ones you drive. He bought it in AZ right before he moved up here. Darrel drove it all the way here...Amazing considering he only paid 3K for it...Then he lived in it a full year while the kids and Kris stayed in AZ. Then when they rented a house here it was parked in that yard and then when they bought this house he drove it here and parked it in this yard...It is covered with moss.  He says the engine and tyranny only has 50 K on it...Hopefully he can get something for it and get it moved out of the yard,

I am getting ready to leave in about 3 weeks. I have to mail some stuff home. I am taking one Carry on when I fly. I have some small things that are very heavy. It is cheaper to pay for a bag than mail it all.Since they do not weigh carry on bags I can really weigh it down...Then all I have to do is get some strong young guy to put it in the overhead for me.LOL

Back in the house to tend to another load of wash.

A nice Sunday...now I believe it is Tuesday....

and I did nothing special. The weather was pretty, The grand girl did my nails...always a treat.

I cleaned up in my room. Kenzie is much better and my throat is not at all sore today....so i will not be making anyone else sick..

Gotta go inside. Kris is making me earrings...They say strike while the iron is hot and she is in the mood...I will update later.

Tuesday...
Yesterday Kris and I cleaned up her house. I did my usual...Clean floors, sinks bathroom, kitchen. Make sure clean linens are on everything.....while she cleaned off PILES of stuff off the top of everything....It looks much better...

Also I have been gathering up Gloves...look what I got from Greg!

 

Now this is someone who needs a pair of Darrel's gloves...I have several your size Greg.

 

Kenzie is doing good I guess. It has been a week today and she is still sleeping during the day cause she is getting so tired. She sleeps a lot....

 

Oh I just got invited by Kris to go shopping...It is a pretty day. I am out of here..

Kenzie is getting better every day but today my throat is a little sore. I hope I am not getting something and make her  sick.

Raining again today. I told Kris that there has only been one nice day this year...and I did not even know how pretty the day was till about 4 in the afternoon when I finally went outside. Kris said there have been 2 days like that. I guess I slept all the way throw the other pretty day.

Washington is a dreary state.

Kenzie is in my room and her friend Britney is spending the night out here also. They are both on their phones reading jokes to each other...They are clean jokes. Apparently from Pinterest.

I loved Hannah's and Robert's class pictures...Yes Hannah was standing very straight. They both looked so cute.

Thursday... I am alive

To start off Kenzie needed 4 1/2 more hours for her driving class. Last Saturday Darrel let her drive to Burlington. It was a 3 1/2 hour drive there. She drove on a free way, drove in rain, drove in snow, and had a safe trip. Later that day after they got  home there was a big land slide on the road they had been on when they went up there.

Tuesday morning Kenzie had her tonsils taken out. She has stayed out here with me and i have watched her around the clock. Wednesday morning she heaved her guts out. Other than that we have done really well. She has not run a fever and she is not able to eat soft foods, and we are managing the pain well.
Amanda and Jake have had half-days all week so we have been really busy.
Today I did make chicken and noodles, i did a load of laundry, and cleaned house just a little. I am now ready for a nap.
