Teach the Children DILIGENTLY....These words shall be as frontlets between my eyes... Frontlets, so I can always keep this in front of my eyes...Love the Lord.....He has Blessed me today...

There was a bag of trash outside my door...The squirrel found it...Here he is snooping   trying to get inside..

 Well he made it in.....this protruding thing at the top end of the bag is the squirrel trying to get out....You can see his eye if you look close...Wish it was on video...he would back up and jump...back up and jump...He was making the sack really dance..Amanda and I laughed our head off...

 Here he got out...compare this bag to the last picture...It was so funny..

Happy Wednesday...

I got the kids off to school this morning and started working in the yard...I mixed up moss be gone and sprayed all of the bricks around the yard. I cleaned everything up and was ready to jump in the shower when I got a call from the nurse at Amanda's school. Amanda had 103 temp. So I got her home and tended to and I have messed around in my room ever since. That's OK because it is a rainy day. She can not go to school tomorrow even if the fever went away today...She has to be temp free for 24 hrs before returning to school. So tomorrow she will be home with me. She is still running a temp...I keep dosing her with Tylenol and Motrin..


When Darrel got home he went to the store and bought the kids the new Hero movie...I do not like cartoon movies but the 2 little ones are in my room watching it. I am waiting to see if I can tell where the song by our distant relative is playing... Not sure yet...sad since Months ago I went to YouTube and listened to it...


We are having left overs again tonight...I may trot myself to Taco Bell for a dollar something...We have no beans...I need to cook some tomorrow...good idea...Tomorrow beans for me..


I Emailed Fleta today. She is fine even tho we have not had a post since the eagle picture. I wonder if the kids are going to Church tonight. Last night Emily texed me that she had a Choir thing at the school and Granny and Pa went.


I have been going to Church just down the road from this house...I miss the Coin Church...especially the Preacher and his sweet wife.


I checked flights home today...There was a flight from Phx to Springfield for less than 60 bucks...It was sometime in the middle of April. That is longer than I wanted before going home. Darrel keeps telling me He would buy me another ticket from here to Phx if I wanted to stay past 3-25...But I think I will be ready to get home. And I hate to waste my ticket I all ready paid for.  There is a lot for me to do here but I imagine there is a thing or two I could be doing at home too...


Did I mention I cut my hair and Kenzie textured it and it looks and feels great...Standing on it's ends again...Yeah...


It's almost 5 so I guess Kris is home by now....I thin k I will leave the little ones out here watching the movie and go into the house for a bit....

Not in Arkansas

This is a view of Kris's front yard I used a prong rake behind the mower and dug up most of the moss. Then I spread stuff on the yard to kill what was left.

 Kris bought this for Darrel for Christmas. I like it.

 The side yard with the old chicken house. Darrel wants to tear it down....Me I keep thinking it must be good for something...It is not falling down.

 Fleta this is the canvas shed like the one I bought to put my car in...This one is over 3 years old. But it is in the trees to break the wind I guess.

 This last week when I walk into the house I think...My the yard looks nice. The trash bin for yard waste is full..Friday it will be dumped and I will pick up all the piles of moss and yard mess.

 Kris cooking something....always....since she has 7 people to feed...

 This bush is beside my room between me and the canvas shed...It is so pretty. Kris has several blooming plants but this thing is always the first thing to bloom..

Kris did not work yesterday....First time since I got up here. So we run around. She had a white cloth table cloth on her 7 foot kitchen table. Of course no one could eat on it....So at meal time it got pushed up to the middle. Kris likes to change decorations with the season so she wanted a Saint Pattys day table cloth....Instead we bought heavy clear plastic at the cloth center. We left the white table cloth on. went to the dollar store and got some shamrock decoration and put on the table on the white cloth and then put the plastic clear table cloth over that...It looks great and now she can just put Easter decorations on it when Saint Pattys Day is over....I thought of it...

Yesterday we also went to Ross and Kris bought several new tops. She has lost quiet a bit of weight and needed some new tops....She went from x-large to Medium.

Today Kris goes to work at noon. She got all of the kids off for school and now she is going to the gym.

Amanda is learning to swim. We have made 2 trips to the pool. She now will get all of the way under the water. Darrel signed her up for swim lessons in March. I will be able to take her to all of the lessons except the last one. Kris can get her to that one.

I read some yesterday and today I want to finish that book Betty refereed me to.

I am going to sew a backing on a curtain for Kris today. I took it down 2 days ago. I am determined to do it today.

We are having left overs for supper...That means no pots and pans to wash but lots of plastic containers from the frig.

I cut my hair last night and Kenzie texture cut it for me....It looks and feels very good. Missy colored it for me while I was in AZ.

Today I have worked out in the yard almost all day. The riding lawn mower has a bad battery so I had to jump it off the white truck...The Battery' on the mower' is below the driver seat...plus it has a pressure switch where you need to be sitting on the seat before it will run....Problem with the battery cables hooked up where my hind end is supposed to be...So I was trying to do a quick unhook and jump on the seat and I fell and ripped my favorite work pants...not just a little but about a 2 foot rip.... I was so P'd off  I just worked all morning in them anyway...But I did get it all done.

We pulled up so much moss...now it needs to be sprayed to kill it all.
AAAAHHH it's a good day here. all of the kids are running in 4 different directions...Glad they all have something to do.

Not much to do today...

It is cloudy here today....I think it is about 50.
I got all of the kids off by 8 and started my day. I vacuumed the floors this morning and cleaned the kitchen. That took less than an hour. Then I came out to my room and cleaned up. that took about 15 min. Then I decided to strip my bed and laundry it. I probably need to put it in the dryer about now. Yelp they were done. They are in the dryer now.
Yesterday, after I did the laundry and house cleaning, I worked outside a little. I raked up front by the road. Things are really blooming here. It was sunny, then cloudy, and then late afternoon it was sunny again.
Tonight Amanda has a school singing thingy....So we will be there around 6. Everyone will have to go. I am sure for Amanda it will just be the best day ever.
I wonder if the GF kids went to school today. I tried to call Fleta last evening around 5 her time but she was out walking....again..I just sent Fleet an email...I imagine she is at lunch. It is almost noon her time. I had a thought...She should walk to work on snow days... I would love to hear what Clayton would say to that...
Betty, my cinnamon rolls were very good. They are the ones you put in the fridge and can leave them 3 or 4 days. What I have done is pull them out and roll out a pan of them each day. I will bake the last of them today. I'll have them ready for the kids snack. I remember Mama would sometimes have cinnamon rolls ready when we got home. I know I never did brag to her how good her yeast bread always was....But it was just the best! Her biscuits too. I can not make biscuits fit to eat.
I looked through my pics the other day. Fleta wanted to have some Birth Day prints made for Emily. As I was going through them I saw a few of ole Clayton. He always had the biggest smile.
My computer battery just dies do I am on Kenzie's brand new computer...It is lovely...But getting back to mine...last night Amanda wanted to use My lap top. I told her sure but she would need to plug it in....So she did...Shortly after that I fell asleep...I got on my computer this morning and it was still plugged in. then just a minute ago it said I needed to plug it in...The plug line was in the computer ...But the line from the power source to the wall is missing... I looked around a bit and do not see it anywhere. I'm sure little Amanda did not know you also had to plug it in the wall. She is the prettiest little girl...But she is blond clear to the roots...LOL
