Patsy...
I am sitting here in Hospice House talking to Patsy... The address is 901 Jones Rd. Springdale, AR
She is better than I have seen her in a long time. She has not had any pain meds since 10AM and does not appear to be hurting. Her wound in her stomach is so bad. She seems to be in her right mind...most of the time. She is repeating herself some.
As usual she rand the nurse. The nurse came right away...She said she would have to get help to turn her...She said, "I'll be right back." Patsy said, "We'll never see her again." Kelly said no she would be back...AFTER 30 seconds Pat said...."See, she has not came back!" I knew this was coming...So I timed it...it had been 30 seconds....I told Pat...Then I told her when 1 minute was up....Then 1 minute 30 seconds...at 2 minutes Kelly said they are at the door putting on gowns.Patsy did have to admit that was good time....
She ate lunch...We had a potato soup, among other things....She ate for the first time in 4 days...While eating the soup she commented about a dozen times, "Boy, this is good soup.'
They just came in to wash her hair.

It's Friday...again..
and a great day...
I started out this morning reading....I got The Chamber by Grisham...I had been wanting it....Yesterday I was at the library and got Blood Feud...It was really enjoyable...but read it in 2 hrs...small book...but it portrayed Slick willie at his best...I do like that man... I am taking it down to Fleta's. She will read it in 30 minutes...But I decided I was not going to just sit and read all day...
So I cleaned house....The whole nine yards, Vacuumed, swept , moped, cleaned bathroom, scoured all of the kitchen....especially the stove. anyway it is a little after noon and I decided I would post.
I go to clean the Church today. I spoke to Patsy today and told her I had to go at 2 and clean the Church. She thought that was not a good thing she would want to do...Me, it's the most enjoyable part of my church experience.
Then I pick up Emie after school. She is going to Branson and spend the night with a friend because it is their birthday.I wish she had more friends down here.
I made fudge last night and Carmel's....One reason Clayton's kitchen was such a mess. I have 1/4th of a turkey breast thawed and ready to fry. I am doing that today...sometime in the next few minutes....
Yippee....Kris bought me a ticket to Phoenix this morning. I will leave Springfield on Jan 26th....I will have to get one of the boys to take me....With any luck the plane will be delayed a day and they will put me up in a hotel and give me a free ticket....Always thinking... I am all ready to get warm...oh I forgot to add the best part...It was $55.00!

WOOOOOHOOOOO..
What a beautiful day!
Sunny here today and close to 50 I would say....
I got up this morning and turned the gas off in the house...Drank a pot of coffee...read on the net...I went down to JR's at 10 and took my laundry....Two weeks worth, two loads...I did my laundry, folded up all of his he had on the table, cleaned his floors, cleaned the kitchen, did one load of his work clothes, dusted, made his bed..
Then I came home and George had decided he was going to put up a wire pannel across Claytons blue garage...We got that done...It works great and while he was here with the tractor I loaded all of the RailRoad tyes that were in the yard...7 or 8....It was all ole Orange could do to haul them off in one trip...
I put away my laundry...Also I secured some plastic over the windows. I checked on my ttrailer while I was down there. No sign of mice yet...Yeah, Winnie and her steelwool tip...
We go to Church tonight but Fleta may not go...she said she had been sick all day. I can take the kids by myself....

The Weather Outside is Frightful.....
for sure!
Fleta, the kids, and I went to Church this morning and it was just starting snow flurries at noon....Now at 2:15 I see a lot of white outside.... And it is still coming down!
Fleta was making home made rolls and spaghetti for supper. I made the sauce. Fleta is going to have to come pick it up. I am not sticking my nose outside. As a matter of fact, once she comes up and gets the sauce I am taking a hot bath and putting on some warm PJ's and curling up with a book. I have one that I have not read...BTW Betty, The Chamber is the title of that book we were discussing...I do not have that one.
JR came up yesterday and he had a new pair of coveralls.... He needed the straps shortened... He backed up to the wall stove while I sewed them...He does look a lot like daddy. Sure love that boy!
I'm calling Fleet, telling her to send someone to get this sauce......
