Baby it's cold outside!

Well, winter has definitely arrived. It is cold today, and I will have to leave the water running tonight for sure.

I've stayed in the house most of the day. I stuck my head out once and saw just a couple of snowflakes flying around. And it is supposed to be cold for the next 2 weeks. That sounds like fun.

Fleta sent Greg to town today to buy some groceries. She had him come by here and asked me if I needed anything. I ordered a bag of candy, which shows where my priorities lie...

I wonder what's going to happen if the electricity goes off. My furnace here is gas propane, so I'll be okay with that. But I didn't know about cooking anything. I decided I could cook outside on an open fire. Most people think that was pretty bad, but it sounds kind of interesting to me. I guess we'll see if I have to do that. There is plenty of wood lying around everywhere, that's for sure. I'm always reminded of this because Mom used to make us go get the kindling. After years of doing that, we had to go pretty far up on the hill to find old dead pieces of wood. Now they're right down by the road.

I've done a couple of loads of laundry today, fixed myself some food, and watched some TV. All in all, I've done very little. It's only 6:30, so it's a little early for bed.

I took Fleta to Harrison yesterday to buy a new pair of shoes. She bought a pair of Nikes that had sort of a high top on them, hopefully to help her ankle feel better. They cost her $100, and she wore them around the house today and has already decided she's not going to be able to keep them, so we'll be taking those back.

I gave Fleta a permanent a few weeks ago, and it still looks pretty good. It is not too fuzzy. She has a problem with her hair, as Rhea said, she has cat hair, and that's pretty much correct.

Tomorrow is Monday, and it's supposed to be a work day for Fleta. I don't know if she'll be able to make it in or not. It all depends on the weather.

My day will be the same as usual I won't be going anywhere I'm sure. I could crochet a little but I don't find that very relaxing. I could so that would be better I guess There is a couple of things I need to make Then again I Then again I may just hold the couch down all day.
