So I'd better not waste it....I walked down the road to look at my pen still love it...Here are some dead limbs I need to pull off the hill and burn
Here is the window I put the burlap behind. I am going to get some little hooks and string wire across from to facing to facing and hang pictures with little clothes pens. It will give me more to look at while I walk.
The pig pen. I put more wire up and loaded the holes with rocks. I wired some boards over small holes where the panels joined. I fixed a gate on the far side. Water trough is in the low spot since I read they pee where they drink. The feeder will be on the far side by the gate.
The old barn Can you even believe it Betty. I still remember when Daddy built it. All of the men in the family want to push it down. Not me and Fleta. I told JR we need to fix it up. He tells me he has to pay taxes on it....Good. Here's some tin I pulled out of the pig pen. No doubt it was once a roof.
I made a small pile of brush
Another view of the old barn. I remember when Daddy poured these steps we loaded rocks in the hole.
So Fleta finally told George he could tear the barn down if he took down all of the lumber out of the inside first. When I came home a few weeks ago I saw these boards taken down and they are piled in the barn. George did not do this but he may have passed the word along to the boys...Anyway I think they decided it was more trouble than it was worth. No one has touched it since...Guess I could go nail the boards back up. BTW betty this is the N/W corner where the cooler sat. Remember how heavy those cans were you and Fleta had to lift.
Rock pile to fill holes in the pig pen.
The only feeder stanchion left....See that red box...If I tore this out what could I do with it...I do not know yet but one day it will be in this house....LOL
Today I think I will take a 5 gallon pail of walnuts out to the front porch and crack them all. I can pick them out the next 3 cold days.. it really was quiet rewarding and I am not sure why.
Wednesday is church night and this week Fleta and I do not have to take a thing Yeah....
My plants are still alive...yippee...

Thanks so much. They make my day. Love you and fleta so moch.
Great to know what is happening.
The barn makes me a little sad. I was in the 4th grade when we built it.
It is the "new" barn to me. It would be about 56 or 57 years ago.
I was the age of Robert!
Sister we are old!!
Love you much today.
