Well...

such a deep subject for such a shallow mind...That was not one of Mom's sayings but I threw it out there anyway...

Today the man came and picked up the log splitter and back hoe thing...I had to wait on him to get here...I had to stay in the  house and not make a bunch of noise or I might   not hear him...So I would not run the Vacuum cleaner. Doesn't that sound like an excuse... It Is...

I was not feeling my best...I did get the kids off and  I did some laundry. I also made a good supper, Chicken fried steak, white gravy, potatoes, corn, green beans and a texas sheet cake...Oh yes and I made biscuits....I can not make good biscuits...But Betty  said I could use self rising flour...all I had to do was add some shortening and some milk...I did that... they were still flat!  I may try again...Then again I may not..

Miss Hannah has a birthday on the  2nd...I have a gift but it is sitting in my room...There is no way it will be there in time...I do not have a right size box cause I need to send Christmas stuff too...Aunt Helen is REALLY bad Hannah...But I will get it mailed this week and you will have it by next week sometime...The good news is that I am sending candy also....I am so sorry I have been so slow. The excuse that I am using is that I am sick....

The kids put up a tree yesterday. It is pretty. Kris even had a 4' one I put out in my room. It is pre lit and I love to leave it on at night....But I use the plug I use for the electric heater....Now that is fine for me but last night Amanda probably got a little cold. I told her she would have to sleep in here tonight but she said she did not get cold and I have been coughing a lot so she needs to be out there in case  I got choked...So we leave the tree off tonight and the heat on.

I have not talked a lot to Rhea. I imagine her hands are full. Please pray for her.
