Wet Wednesday...

It has been wet here for 3 days. This is the first rainy spell we have had since I have been here.

Everyone has gone off today and I have all of the house work completed.

The frig repair man just left. Kris bought a new frig over the summer and the door handle was loose and a drawer slide was broken. I called the repair man since it is under warranty for 5 years and got those things fixed today. He was here last week and ordered parts. Also last week I got Kenzie's window in her suburban replaced plus Darrel's new smoker body was delivered on Monday...All in all it has been handy having me hanging around here. When you work all day it is hard to get replacements done.  I have Kenzie set up to see a specialists on  11/9. Hopefully we can get something done about her pain.

Yesterday I worked on Victoria's baby blankets. I will finish them up today.  I will get it in the mail by Sat so she will have it in time for the shower for sure. I am going to the fabric store and see if I can find material for a quilt for Seth.

Kris has been busy with her new job. She likes it. She has 4, what I call, problem children. One does not talk. One does not listen. One that takes  scissors and cuts everything. Then when you take them away she takes things belonging to other kids...takes things home that is...One that hits everyone. Man the joys of Kindergarten...Why anyone would teach that grade I will never know...Hear that Winnie Jo...

Darrel is still working a lot of hours. Like normal.

The kids have their Halloween outfits all set. only the 2 little ones will be dressing up...Well I am dressing up in a witch costume and I am going to Kris's school and go into the class rooms. That is if the office will let me in...I know the grand kids will not even know who I am...As a witch I am very scary...
Monday I baked cupcakes and the kids ate them all...yesterday I made rolls and monkey bread and the kids ate them all. Today I think I will make cookies since I seem to be on a roll. Cookies are one of my least favorite things to make.

I have baked quiet a bit since I have been here. I know this because I have gone through 25 pounds of flour...My sisters will think that is a whole lot. These kids do eat and so does Darrel. He takes his lunch every day.   yesterday with supper Amanda ate 5 rolls.   I imagine Mike ate at least 8. They all love cinnamon rolls except Amanda. Jake said my cinnamon rolls were better than anyone else by 1000% ...That's a lot.... Like sister Fleta said about walking 1000 miles...That's a big number.
