Wednesday...

This morning Kris and I went through Amanda's clothes. I have a pile to mail....This big trash bag is full of clothes for Hannah....and those 4 little cars are for Robert....Yet Robert will think he got the best of the deal!..  It is a lot to mail but everything I am sending is really nice and nothing looks worn EXCEPT.. some PJ'S but they do not have holes they are just faded and Hannah will like them because they are so soft...
That is why I am sending them and since there are just 2 or 3 like that I thought I would send them also...after all it will not cost anymore..Now I am not sure what box I will send them in I will have to find one...But they will be sent SLOW mail...The purple shoes on top are not new but Amanda did not wear them much and I thought Hannah would like them. I have a problem handing down shoes and underwear... There are 2 pair of underwear brand new that I meant to send to Hannah last time but they did not get in the batch.
This was Amanda's Christmas dress I bought 2 years ago...It still looks almost new but Amanda loved it and wore it a lot. BTW Fleta all of the clothes are clean. But I am sure they will be wadded by the time you get them so you may need to wash them again. There are about 8 leggings in there that are really cute. There is also some summer things.Oh yes and there is 1 dark pink long flared skirt that is a PLAY skirt....It was Hannah Montana, and Kenzie wore it some but I did not let her wear  it to school often...Plus we had a really cute top that made the outfit...The top is somewhere else...So now it is just a dress up skirt...
I have been feeling better. I got my hands on some antibiotics and they have helped.

Kris is home today.
Kenzie  started her driving classes Monday. She loves it of course.

Kris is going grocery shopping later. I am going to stay home. Grocery shopping with Kris is a half day event.

I cleaned the chicken pen yesterday. A coon or something got in there 3 nights ago and 1 chicken lost all of it's tail feathers. I found the hole where the wire was pulled away and Kris patched it Hopefully it will leave them alone...But Clayton does not think so...I called Clayton about it he was not very helpful. The conversation went something like this.

Me... Hi Clayton, something got in the chicken pen last night and knocked the light around and broke it and 1 chicken is missing a lot of feathers and all of it's tail feathers. What do you think it is.

Clayton.. A Coon.

Me.. Well I looked around and found where the wire had been pulled back and the opening was about as big as your hand spread out. Do you think a coon could have gotten in there. Clayton... Yes.

Me... Well I figured if it was a coon he would have killed them all. I thought it might have been a cat. Could it have been a cat.

Clayton... No, It was a coon.

Me... Well, do you think it would help if we replaced the light. Would that help any.

Clayton... Yes, Then the coon could see them better.

Me... Well, we patched the hole. Do you think that will keep him out since we stapled it back up.

Clayton... He will make a new one.

Me ... Clayton, we always have lots of food scraps...Do you think it I started pouring them out about 30 foot from the chicken pen would he just eat them and leave the chickens alone.

Clayton...Not if he wants fresh chicken!

So all in all,  Clayton was not a real bright spot of news.

Hannah loves the dress. I asked R if the cars might be for me. No, silly grandma, they are for me.
