AAAAAAHHHHH

As I have told everyone a few weeks ago my MD wants to send me to a specialists. A communicable disease immune deficitity (sp) doctor but we could not find one on this side of town. Yesterday I decided to call Marty Trout and ask her about a doctor and the medication I have been on for over a year Valcyte. I had stopped taking it 3 weeks ago because my doctor was concerned that I had been on it so long and the last time she took me off of it my numbers were higher than when she put me on it. But while I was on it I felt much better.

Marty worked for immune deficitity doctors for years and they were the best ones around. She was the office MGR. for over 20 years at their offices but they retired and so she retired. Anyway Marty said she had known patients to be on this medication for years! She also hooked me up with a doctor that hopefully I will get in to see soon.

But I am so nuts sometimes. I remembered the last time I quit taking these pills I was very tired but I had forgotten about the bone pain!

My feet have hurt since Vegas. I can hardly walk on them. I was thinking it was because I walked so much in sandles or because I had that broken foot. Then this weekend my hips started hurting, along with all of my other joints,  and I was walking like Grandma Gaddy,,AGAIN... Then this morning I woke up and my arm bones were hurting and only then did I remember the joint and bone pain that I had when I was not taking these pills. I wanted to stay off of them till I saw a specialists so he could get a reading on how bad I was but this morning I said pooie on that and started my pills again. Thank goodness!

Rhea King's daughter says if you can take a pill to make you feel better...TAKE THE DANG PILL! She is right.

So I will go to Walgreen's and pick up another prescription of Valcyte this morning and just enjoy knowing I will feel better in a few days.

It is so hot here. I could use some cool Arkansas weather. Have Hannah do a rain dance for me. Actually we have had some rain this last week but it is still very hot. It looked like she was doing a rain dance in Pat's house yesterday. BTW Fleta, Missy sent a package to you Sunday but she sent it snail mail so it may take 10 days. No joke.  Greg had left some nice shirts here and he had bought a couple of things for Robert and Hannah and we finally got it boxed and mailed. Hannah will be glad to get a package. I imagine if Greg was short on shirts he just wore some of JR's so I was not worried about his clothes.

I loved looking at Betty's melon pictures. She has quiet the garden. I heard Clayton's tomatoes are not doing well. Good thing Fleta has some.

We are anxious for the watermelons to be ready, but must wait for the moment. All my bones hurt and my feet. I just trudge on like Granny Gaddy. Glad you will be better soon.
