Today is the 1st day of summer but it has been hot here for the past 2 weeks. I have Benjamin this morning. I went over to Missy's this morning before she went to work and stayed with Benjamin till he was ready to get up and come to my house. I did her dishes while I was there but she did not have many dirty...She had a little ironing there but I did not get around to that...
I came home and then cleaned my kitchen and went outside and cleaned the glass doors and chairs outside. I snapped these pictures while I was out there.
The orange plant is as tall as the fence now. Patsy likes these plants but I still do not know what they are called. I called them Bird of Paradise for a long time even though I knew that was not what it was. The Mimosa tree is in full bloom and loosing blooms all over the ground.
The Humming Bird waterier was empty when I came home from WA and I made some sugar water but I did not fill it. I will need to make more in a few days.
I checked the Jacuzzi water while I was out there because I had not cleaned it since before kenzie left but the water was pretty clean ( it cleans automatically but it is not always as clean as I like) and it is cool. I try to keep it cool in the summer so the Grand Kids can get in there and play...It is only about 3 foot deep but it is much nicer than a kiddy pool at least...I threw in a chlorine tablet and turned on all of the jets so it will be crystal clear by the time Benjamin gets in.
We have to do some home work pages before I let him get in. He ate all of his oatmeal so he gets to watch 30 minutes of TV. That is what we are doing now but 15 more minutes and it goes off. Then we have to do pages to get to watch more TV or play on the computer. We never fight about it I ask and if he does not want to do them I do not make him. Eventually he gets tired of playing with his toys and will want the TV on or the computer or to get into the Jacuzzi and he decides he wants to do a few pages. We get along quiet nicely.
We are having Spaghetti for lunch and I all ready have rolls rising. Benjamin loves them...
