I decided I wanted to eat instead of sewing so I had to cook...
Mike came into the Kitchen while I was fixing the peach cobbler and he wanted to know who I was cooking all of this for. I told him me, just me....I did notice when it was done he ate also.
I had been wanting a peach cobbler for days. I asked Patsy what kind of dough do you use in a cobbler, she said just pie crust.. so I rolled out a crust and put it in the bottom and added some peaches mixed with a little sugar and corn starch, then another pie crust and more peaches and a crust on top... It is good but I just wanted a little bit...The crust is excellent and the peaches taste really fresh..Some things you can't just make one serving....Hope Benjamin and Missy come over for supper...

I bought a half bushel of peaches. I may have to copy you and make...well, I think a cobbler. Pie is more trouble ...messy folks just make a cobbler.
Whether it's pie or cobbler, they both sound delicious. With some whip cream or ice cream, shucks, even just some cold milk poured over is good.
Looks good. I am getting ready to cook we are having grilled pork chops, fresh corn on the cob, squash and okra. I made homemade cookies last night so I want make desert today.
Boy am I sorry a wind storm took out my peach tree.
All looks great. How can I be hungry, I just ate.
