Guess what lurks in my floral out door hanging basket on my front door...A bird nest and one has hatched... I was not too pleased when Missy found the nest 2 days ago. Actually I was going to tear it out after Benjamin left....But low and behold Austin came over yesterday and when I went to show him, one of the eggs had hatched....I guess now I am stuck with them till they fly away or die...I am sure it is a sparrow but the eggs are light blue....Maybe there is a chance it is some other kind of bird.. I really do not care for sparrows...On the upside Austin came to stay with me a couple of days....We are going swimming today...

not a sparrow, they are white with brown specks. maybe blue bird.
Robins lay blue eggs. And when they first hatch out, they sort of look like a sparrow. The parents have an orange colored breast on them, but I'm sure you know that, having lived on a farm.
