Well I have done it now....Benjamin was here this morning and I called Kris. Amanda wanted to talk to me and Benjamin and I told her we were going to come see her on a plane again...She wanted us to be there right now....Before I got off the phone I think she asked her Mom three times, if we were there yet... It will be on her mind all day... look at that face, it's hard to believe anything would be stuck on her mind....She is still the happiest kid I have ever seen...

Go right before school starts and buy school clothes. Astrid asked her Mom if she thought her Gigi would buy school clothes this year. Laura said they would have to ask me...of course I said...of course. I want clayton to come and get new stuff too. The girls are still little enough that they love just going to Target. That will not be much longer I guess. I give them an amt. to spend and they pick what they want. It is a lot of fun. Ingrid gets less than Astrid because Ingrid may pick the most expensive thing...but if that is what she wants I don't care.
last year when Mackenzie moved in May I thought 'I won't get to take her to buy school clothes anymore.' Then I thought well, I will just go see her and buy them so that is what we did last year and we will again this year...Missy and I will leave on my birthday the 18th of Aug and return the next Monday...we have out tickets and this year we are renting a car...Mackenzie loves to shop...Michael went one year, after that he said I could just go buy him clothes....I told him OK then last year he had to go with us...he said, 'Granny you told me I would not have to go anymore'
I sure do miss that happy girl!
