A few more thoughts....

The TV showed Jessie Jackson in the crowd waiting for Obama to speak and tears were running down his face. After what he had said about Obama earlier in the Campaign I thought this was a little put on….Maybe they were real tears but if so I’ll bet it was because he was thinking, “That could have been me. That should have been me!” I am more than a little ticked off at him.

McCain did give a very gracious conceding speech. Considering how dirty he ran his campaign. It was too little too late. The best part was he did not let Palin speak. I know she was biting at the bit to get to that microphone. I am surprised she was not running ads last night saying ‘Palin 2012.’

I didn’t see anything about the Clintons last night. I am not sure where they were.

I did notice Obama was on the stage by himself during his speech. I wondered if that was for an effect or to keep everyone safe. Probably a little of both. It took guts to draw that big of a crowd in the open.

Obama’s littleist girl was all grins last night. I’m sure she was told Daddy won. I’m sure she has no idea what he won. Like Betty’s three year old Grand Girl said, “Now he is prisoner.” I have thought for the past few days Obama has bought a used car and he should have checked under the hood a little better, to make sure he really wanted it. It’s a whole new ball game from when he threw his hat in the ring two years ago…
