It is 11:00 here and I just got back from my PET scan. The lady that gave it to me in May remembered me. She said this was the first time she had seen me without a rag on my head....
I checked the Democratic Underground when I got home. There was a story about McCain being left on his bus overnight. For awhile I thought it was a true story. I could just see that blundering ole fool asleep and did not know the bus had stopped. After awhile I realized it was just in jest, but for awhile it had me going.
I started reading the book Katie by Edward Klein. He said Katie Couric basically slept her way to the top. This was a surprise to be...who would have thought.
Darrel's older Sister is in the hospital and in bad shape and he is flying in today and going to stay 2 weeks. I'll bet my little red headed Grand Girl was upset she was to coming too. Boeing has not settled their strike yet. Hopefully it will be soon.
Well, I am going in the room to make a few more blocks for Amanda's quilt. I picked out the backing for it yesterday and I have several more blocks to make before it is big enough.

Hope the PET scan came out ok. Tomorrow, Abe has a 10:30 am appointment with a doctor in Kettering, about a 35 min drive, then we have to leave there and got to Arcanum, for my nephew's funeral at 1:00pm. He just turned 43 on July 30th, a semi hit him on his way to work Sat. morning threw him from his pick up and he was brain dead. Not a cut on his face or head, we're assuming it ejected him through either the passenger or drivers door. My Mother said he always wore a seat belt, but the way the truck looked, it would have taken seat belt, seat and everything. It looked terrible. WEll ahve to run, time to go get in line and wait for Granddaughter to get out of school, they have a long line of people waiting for the kids since there is no longer busing. Take care.
When will you get your PET scan results? I sure am prayin for you.
I read the book about Katie and did enjoy learning about her. I'd say she is a phoney wouldn't you?
