I was talking to Melissa today and told her I was about out of material for Amanda's quilt. I was down to about five different pieces of material instead of the dozen or so of colors I started with. Then I remembered where I had stored some material I had used to make Mackenzie dresses when she was little....Sure enough I found about eight more large pieces of material that work perfect for this quilt. It was just like Christmas! It is a good thing I did not sew any of the blocks together, this way I can intermix these new colored blocks in with the rest and it will not look funny. I sat down this morning and made 12 more blocks. That makes 84. I have got to get a backing picked out so I can see how many more blocks I need to make....I am getting close to having enough blocks....Maybe....
