I laid out my quilt top today to check it to the size of the backing, a queen blanket. I will only be showing an inch or two of the backing to the top side of the quilt because my quilt top is almost as big as the backing. I thought I might need to make it a row longer, but I think not. It just seems each quilt gets a little bigger.... Missy said she will come by one night this week and help me stretch it and pin it together. Until then I will just fold it up and put it away. I called Patsy this morning and asked her how she made those string paper quilts. She told me how she made the blocks and I think I will try a few since I have so many material pieces left over from the last 10 quilts I made. I have material to make Little Clayton a baby quilt but Pat said she thought Erin had plenty. I may still make him one. He does not have one from his Aunt Helen.
So Fleta, does the material on this quilt match OK? Since you are the pro......

Yes, Helen, each piece of material matches the other piece of material that is exactly the same color. So, you have 3 exact matches. Mama would have really liked this many colored quilt.
Fleta you are always a smart ass....
I'm not an expert, but to me, it looks wonderful, everything matches and looks perfect.
