Thank You Fleta..

Fleta said...
Well, then, make a list of the things you would like to do that ARE possible and start at the top.
I always thought Fleta was the smartest one of all of us so I took her advice...
Mackenzie will be flying into Phoenix 10/24 and I will be enrolling her into the Val Vista Lakes Elementary School. She will attend the rest of the 09-10 school year living here with me. She will fly home for Christmas and spring break.
Bet that wasn't exactly what you had in mind was it Sis?

God has Blessed me...

For about a year now every time someone asks me how I am I always try to say, "I am blessed "
At my last check up with Doctor Cavalcant he said....Helen. God has given us a little reprieve here, He has Blessed us. If there is anything you want to do you should do it now...' There is something I would really like but it probably is not possible.....

To Me This Is Just Being A Parent...

There are a lot of things that go on in this world that I do not think is right. Many of these things are permitted and accepted in today’s society. I often go through life not responding too many of these things that do not directly affect me. What my neighbors do is not a big concern to me, how they live or what they believe is of little concern to me, as long as they stay in their yard…

Politicians and public figures that live a certain life styles that I do not agree with I often speak out about because their beliefs are often used to persuade the public making things that I do not believe acceptable seem acceptable …and if we just ignore it the it becomes the norm..

But when it comes to my family, especially my children, if I think they are doing something wrong, or something that is harmful to them I will always will voice my opinion about it. My advice is often not accepted or followed …It is usually not appreciated or wanted…And I do understand this and I do accept that it is their lives and they have to live it how they see fit….but I will never just stand by and not say anything…especially now since all of their decisions directly affect my Grand children.

Fleta once wrote her rule of living was never do anything you would be ashamed to tell anyone you have done….This is a good way to live ones life…I have always considered this my rule of living… I have never made a decision in my life without first thinking how this would affect my children. And upon making any decision I always chose the one that I thought would be best for my kids. I have done this all of my life, even after my kids are grown.

Now these decisions have not always been the best thing looking back with 20-20 hind site but at the time I gave it great thought and I always tried to choose what was best for them, not me.

Yesterday....

Guess who spent the night at my house last night.....Baby Seth and Mama got home at 3 PM. I looked after Seth till 10 and then Bill took the night shift...
He is a pretty baby..
Then here is the Curly Red Headed Boy got to hold him///Look at Austin's front tooth sticking out. He is about to loose it any minute. It looks like a Nanny McFee tooth.
Here is how the kids slept at my house last night. Austin had the bed to himself in the back room. This morning they will be heading down to Tucson to drop off Kimmie and the Baby. The Grandpa down there all ready has Lexi...
Yesterday at noon Missy took us to Chuck E Cheese. The boys had a good time. Benjamin is at Day care this morning but will be at my house tomorrow. Austin is out of school for two weeks. He now goes to a year round school. He will spend the week up North helping his Daddy work..
I have to go to the Hospital Wednesday to have a table test for my heart. Then next week they are supposed to hook a monitor to me for 30 days. I am not sure about that one. 30 says is long time to be hooked up to anything.

Bill had to change cell phone companies for his work. He had just bought a high tech phone with the cell phone company Missy and I are with (The one he used to be). He sold it to Missy for 200. She now can jump into the 21st century now. It has a full key board and hooks to the net. So she can read my blog page anywhere and also get her e mails...I hope she learns to use it . Missy does not even text. BTW I get her old phone which is much better than my cheapo...
