We have had a couple of really nice days. Today I worked outside on the east side of my house. Getting ready to put a little patio area out there.. There’s been a spot there forever but I’ve never really done much with it today. I dug a lot of it up and lay down a large piece of plastic. Jr has it surrounded by big rocks for me. I’ve ordered a couple of zero gravity chairs, so I will have something to lay in when the sun shines. I have a double chair out there that I’m gonna make some cushions for. The old ones were absolutely worn to pieces and I’m going to use some of my lumber from my free crates that I got this year in make planters and things for it I’m really hoping to make a pretty area over there where I can sit and enjoy the field. I can’t do that from the front yard. My swing faces the road..
I have gotten rid of all the dogs. I sold all the puppies and boo-boo and trust me. I have not missed them one little bit
My Easter lilies are blooming out in the yard. They always brighten things up. I was going to pick some today and bring in the house but I didn’t get it done maybe tomorrow. The rosebushes are starting to bud I cut them back. I hope I didn’t kill them and even the lilac bush has a few little nubs on it. I’m always so excited when the lilac bush blooms.
Emmy has been staying here usually Monday to Thursday because she has classes. It’s a joy to have her here helps me to keep my house clean. I don’t like kids having to grow up in a dirty house. Now, not that she cleans. It just makes me feel like I need to keep it clean. It’s certainly not her job.
I got my haircut again last week. yippee it was way too long. I still have not put a toner on it. I’m not sure exactly what I’m going to do with it who knows
My casket is completely done and my flowers for the top are completely finished also. It’s a white bouquet but it’s very pretty. I think I’ve got to get it in a plastic bag. I’m sure it’s getting dusty. It’s very large I’m not sure where I’m putting it after I bag it.
I go to the cancer doctor next Monday. I’m sure he’s going to want to do a scan. It’s been a while we’ll see what he thinks on the way to Fayetteville. I can stop by that new dollar tree over there that is so nice.
My pig should be ready one day this week Kelly raised it for me. God bless his heart. It’s a good thing I had dogs to sell so I’ll be able to pay for it. Slaughtering is a little expensive these days. But then again meat is really expensive to. I was hoping to go to Arizona at the end of March. That’s when the Grandest is going to be there. I could take some bacon to Bill. He would love that but I don’t know for sure it’s kind of expensive to go and it’s a whole lot of trouble you could say. I am pretty lazy.
My knees are hurting like crazy today because of all the shoveling I did and moving of the big rocks. I’ve been trying to burn the lambs out of my yard that have fallen from all the storms boy wanna mess and there’s three really big ones that are just across the fence. I’m going to have to do something with them because I can’t stand looking at them. They really block my view.
The deer are really all over the place this year they walk through my yard. I see them at Nortons in their yard. They are just everywhere and they don’t seem to be too afraid of vehicle’s or people I often see a mom, deer and her two yearlings and her one new baby from this year. They are the ones that are constantly around my house sometimes out at Dans I’ve seen as many as eight in his yard.
Barbara seems to be holding her own. I’m glad and thankful. I hope she is able to enjoy some days and not just lay there miserable hopefully she’s not hurting too much and I know it’s a joy having all of her kids around.
I sure have been missing my brothers a lot lately. It sure makes me appreciate Kelly more pets he really did raise good kids even his heart of a life as she had.
Are usually go to bed pretty early sometimes around six watch a little TV but I go to sleep fairly early. Sometimes I wake up one and stay up till three or four and then fall back asleep till about eight or think I’ve gotten a lazy life.
I haven’t been able to use Fleta‘s tractor much. It has an issue with the battery or something. I’m sure she’ll get it fixed now that spring is on its way and it may just need a battery or even a cable but when you have to depend on others to fix it. It’s hard to get things done. As soon as it is running and I can borrow it, I’m going to hook onto something and pull these limbs down in the pasture somewhere, so I don’t have to see them.
I have bought some tomato seeds and I’m going to start them in the house like Patsy used to do. I’ve got to go get some really good potting soil and I’m not exactly sure what I’m gonna plant them in. I do have a sunny spot in the house where I can put them. The bathroom window gets a lot of light, maybe soon enough it’ll be warm where I can put them outside during the day on the front porch that would be really nice. Fleta said I should start them 1 March so I’m going to go with that.
I had two grandkids this month that had birthdays, Benjamin and McKenzie. In March I will have Amanda‘s birthday and in April it is Jake and Lexi‘s everyone is getting old.
Mackenzie calls me almost every week to video chat and so I can see the Grandest usually I just see the back of her because she is on the move all of the time her hair is getting much thicker and it is so pretty when she first gets up it’s really wild, but is soon as mama wet sit and calm sit down it just lays on her head so nicely. She talks some but not a lot. If she lived closer to her granny, she would have a much larger vocabulary because we would talk all of the time. Seeing her just makes my day.
Kelly has new chickens that are about three weeks old. I think they’re pretty small. I went one day last week and helped him pick up the dead ones but there was hardly any. I think I got five out of the two houses and he got about twice that it’s not much of a chore at this point.
I am needing a new faucet for outside. Do you know the kind where the water drains back down? I’ve been needing one for a while but didn’t want to do it through the winter. Kelly thinks he has one somewhere over there behind his barn or some thing so I’m hoping to get it and I won’t even have to buy it. I will have to dig the whole bag down and it was a good 4 foot to the pipe I remember but it’s wet out there so it will be easy digging and I don’t have a lot else to do. I’m not sure if I will be able to install it or not. I’m not really good with a lot of wrenches especially like a pipe wrench I don’t really know what it would take to replace it . Guess I’ll just have to say I’m sure if I get it all dugout cleaned out get all the stuff to put it back together Kelly will come and put it in for me. After all, I sure want him to feel good. And doing stuff for people always makes you feel good ha ha ha.
