Sunday the 29th

And I am anxiously waiting for my first Great Grand Girl.

Kenzie went into the hospital and they started her labor this morning. I have never been a patient person. But being 1500 miles away from the hospital does not help me one bit.  She has texted me last night and today around noon. Things were progressing very slowly.

I called Kris she was at home because of this Covid stuff only her husband was allowed in. But I can’t imagine if I was there I would be sitting in the parking lot waiting till I had a chance to go in. As I said I am not very patient. They refused to let me into Gilbert’s hospital room every day but I still was able to talk my way in.

To see a great grand child even held up to a window glass from Kenzie’s room beats nothing. But not everyone’s like me.  Hard to believe.

I worked some more on my floor today I removed another row  of staples. Tomorrow I am finishing it. Then I have some figuring to do. You see there are pressure big gaps between the outside north wall if the house and the flooring big enough to stick a 2x4  in about 6 foot of it and the rest if the 12 feet is wider than a 1 by this I’d sticking them on edge not flat. And I’ve got to get it sanded and it’s looking more like I may have to rent a sander and do it myself. T here will be tons of dust I can close off doorways with sheets and quilts and take all of the curtains down I can move all furniture out except the couch  I’ll just have to cover it with sheets. It will be a big job for me. I do have those good dust masks so maybe my asthma will be fine
