Monday

Rolls around again and here I am.

My asthma was so much better today. I worked outside on my tomatoes. I got rid of all the stuff I had stacked up to scare the deer and set six poles today. I wired up some fencing over some of it pretty close to where the plants were and ran a rope over the top of the posts so I could hang my sheets.

So tonight I watered and then attached the sheets I hope it works. Trying to cover the plants with sheets was breaking off the tops of the plants.

So Sunday morning I picked all the ripe and almost ripe tomatoes and took to a lady at church.  I fertilized the plants at the start of last week and then we had several cooler days and some rain so I didn’t get a lot of tomatoes. Sunday morning I had about 10.  I knew this week they will really put on a bunch. I picked 10 really ripe ones tonight.  I’m almost out of canning jars so I won’t be canning much more. Maybe I could round up another dozen jars if I’m lucky.

Betty is setting with Ada this week so Fleta is taking me down to. Harrison tomorrow to see her. I am taking lunch for us three girls and two pans of cinnamon rolls for Erin’s family.

It’s great to be able to do something without huffing and puffing.

I picked up all of the tin and mess out of the yard it looks so much better.

Oh yes and fleta got a hot spot from the library and she let me take it. So tonight I am going to find a good movie to go to sleep with. I love it.
