Presidents' Day

I guess everyone in the country can spell this correctly after Trump sent his tweet this morning. I  wonder what history will say about Trump  years from now with all of his tweets...

The weather is cloudy again today. The weather man says rain today. We will see.

Robert is home alone today. Green Forest is not having school today and Hannah is at a friends. I went to Fleta's  about 9 and made Robert scrambled eggs and cheese.

I am still enjoying my fast internet until the 20th. Then I will have to put my name on the list again. That's the way life goes.

My dog id learning to go outside. Thanks from helpful hints from sister Betty, the dog went all night without wetting.  Apparently the trick is put her in a very small space.

Since  i signed up for Dish television service I again have confirmed there is just not many things that are good to watch. I am still mainly watching old westerns just like brother Gilbert watches.  I made fun of Gilbert for always watching these old westerns. Now I know why he watches them.

I am so thankful I have gotten over being sick. I should do something useful around here.....Maybe I will today. I have fat I need to cook up to make lard and soap. I did sharpen my knives but that is as fat as I have gone with it.

My oldest Grand child turned 21 this month. Seems like only yesterday she was a baby.

The man that rents Fleta's pasture has about a dozen head of cows on the place. They dropped 1 calf last week. I check them almost every day. I love seeing the calves. Fleta said she could care less since they are not her cows. Most people probably feel that way.

Fleta took me to church yesterday. There were several people there yesterday, more than usual. The preacher sure would love to see the Coin church grow. Almost all of us that go there are old people. Old people do not make a church grow.

I go to Methodist Church at 9 AM in my little town, then walk to the Baptist Church where Church starts at 10:30. Only about 10 old people at the Methodist and 15 or so at the Baptist. Everybody else goes 10 to 30 miles to go to a bigger church. I have decided I'm not going to go to any church that isn't in my town as long as there is one here.

Funny thing is, I'm neither Baptist or Methodist. I was raised in Church of Christ.
