When I think of George one prominent trait comes to my mind...He sure was good to his grand kids.
I have looked through many songs about the love of Grandpas
and none of them seemed just right. Here is an old song by Randy Travis that the chorus was very fitting...in part it says...
"As the story goes,
only heaven knows.
But his hat seemed to me
like an old halo..
And although his wings,
they were never seen.
I thought that he walked
on water."
His Grand-kids will always feel this way about their Grandpa.
