For today ...

I have plants growing everywhere...

I transplanted 3 peonies this year into a flower bed by Mommas bedroom window...They are up and growing. I transplanted about a dozed flags into that bed and one is ready to bloom...a purple one. I also found Clayton's old peonies in the yard. It has been mowed down all last year and I believe the year before also. I was afraid it was dead but I found it and put rocks around it so I will not run over it this year...Ruth at church said to pour cow manure on it...I am going to take the 4 wheeler down in Dan's pasture and get 5 gallons of it....Fleta and I dug up 5 gallons of black gold down where the old barn was...What a joy...Well Fleta dug it...I just got to keep it. George will have the hole filled with red clay dirt any minute.

I have 13 tomato plants. I moved 2 into 3 pound coffee cans tonight into that black gold dirt and rice hulls. They were about 10 inches tall and barely in the soil....Hopefully I did not kill them...I have enough Jape lino pepper plants for all of Carroll County...about a dozen...one plant will produce at least 100 peppers... At least mine did last year. I have green onions outside over 6 inches tall. My lettuce is not up yet. Maybe I should be covering it with plastic at night,

I have some nice looking ferns but it had better get warm and sunny soon or they will start to look bad..This living in the house does not produce healthy and happy things...Trust me I know... Cold again today...

I bought another rosemary plant. I hope this one grows...The last 2 lives several months but did not really grow...I have had this one about 2 weeks and it seems to be thriving instead of just dying a little each day...

My peppers have been planted at the same time as the tomatoes but they are only 2 inches tall. I am going to go outside and get some miracle grow or maybe I should just use black gold...no I am using the miracle grow first.

Oh yes and i planted some Bell pepper seeds in another pot it was an old Easter plastic basket...I am not sure but I think I have 1 really healthy elm tree plant about 6 inches tall...It looks really healthy tho...might be a bell....but I think it's an elm tree,,,Oh and the 1st thing to come up in all of the pots was several blades of grass...It took me awhile to make sure it was grass plants instead of tomato plants...JR was a big help with that. When I asked him if he could tell grass plants from tomato plants he said tomatoes were red..That's Fleta's son!

I hope the summertime camp you are offering works out. Erin is excited but said she is afraid it will fall through and you will back out. It sound like a grand ole time to me.
