Monday...again..

You know it rolls around every week...LOL
I have had a busy day today but it was an easy one. All I did was stay home and do laundry, cooking, and housework.

Kris had a school meeting tonight so I have been in charge. What a joke. They walk all over me.

I went to Wal Mart last week or the week before and got a hair cut. Missy said I should know better than to get a hair cut there.. But when you don't know anyone it is hit or miss...Well this was a miss...Saturday morning I got up and my hair was hanging flat down in my face...Well you could say it was not in my face because it is short and only covers my  forehead. When the gal cut it I told her how she had ti pick up a finger length of it and cut straight down into it...Lilly called it roughing it up..choppy......But the lady did not want to do that so she used thinning scissors...They all seem to want to do that and it never works...I tell them that and they say..."It does the same thing.." yeah, right....so Sat I could not stand it anymore and I had Kris whack down into it for me...It is so much better...Just standing right up... wow I miss a good hair dresser.. Kenzie said she will color it for me Sat.

This weekend we had rain but  I still grilled yesterday evening...I sat by the camp fire and did not even get wet.

Kris got a new Kirby vac yesterday...The guy  wanted 2200 for it but Darrel gave him $600  cash...He left and came back 3 times but finally he took it...I called today and registered it and it is new....and I guess not hot... He had all of the Kerby letterhead... Guess it was on the up and up....anyway I used it a lot today and it works good!

Then...Yesterday Kris and Darrel looked for Kris a new computer...which she wants and needs..They could not find what she wanted....She could care less about a vacuum....Darrel called today and I told him I caught kris trying to hook her key board up to the new Kerby...I did not think she was pleased with it at all.......Well...we laughed anyway..

Barb got my baby book and Betty's quilt today...My 2 blankets will be there by Friday I am sure...The shower is Sat.They will be there in time...

All of the kids have had their shower and they have done all of their homework except their 20 minutes of reading ...They are working on that...

The dish washer is about through. I might get it emptied before Kris gets home.

I made a spice cake today...It was just a mix. I did make brown sugar frosting for it...It was good because it was not real sweet.

Fleta said Clayton's house is over run with dead bugs....I guess all kinds but many, many lady bugs...She said she should vacuum it...I say leave it ...It will be fine...

Oh yes ...and Kris has a Dyson just like mine....And that was not even the newest  one she was using...so mine needs some new parts and I am going to snag them off her old Dyson.... I even know the pieces I need...I was going to order them ...but not now...HA..Then there are 3 vacuums in my room needing to be thrown away and I will keep the newest Dyson and use it in my room... My room just becomes a dumping ground sometimes...Good thing I am not here much..

I have an eye appointment in Lynwood tomorrow...I am ordering a new pair of glasses...Fleta will be proud.
