Monday, Monday..

I am posting some old pictures I ran across...Here is Melissa on the old red swing. Dad sat it in the shade on the east side of the house. It is no wonder why...You can see the whole place from there. After he retired I imagine it was his favorite place to sit. I go there and stand often.

 Oh...and Fleta and Betty...here are some old people they are  dead now...No idea who they are but since they are dead I imagine both of you consider them close friends now.

 Patsy when she lost a lot of weight and felt so good...Oh yes and Dillard was dead. You know she liked dead people better also.

 Now this is a picture of Patsy holding my first grand child....It appears Fleta's was her favorite cause I can almost see her gritting her teeth...I am not sure she even got her all the way on her lap before she threw her back to me..

This  morning while cleaning the kitchen I picked up a small gold band ring off the counter. I am sure Kris laid it there...It is very thin and 14 K gold...I know it came to Kris through me..Maybe it was Grandma Gaddy's...It is very small I  wear a size 6 and this was smaller than that. I put it on my left hand ring finger easily and moved the ring I always wear on that finger to the right hand because it was to small for the right hand and to large for my pinkie...I would say it is a 51/2..I know it was not Mom's...Betty lost Mom's with  the tiny hearts around it...Betty was carrying water at the time...I think I will take Hannah's metal detector up there and see if I can find it...I wonder how long before Kris notices it...

When I left Mike I had 2 really nice rings...One had a large diamond it was under 1 k by a little...the other one had 5 stones and was about 1 1/2 k...I gave one to each of my girls..Kris never wore hers so last summer Missy made a deal with Kris...If Kris would give her the ring now when Missy dies she will give one to Amanda and one to Kenzie...You might call this a bird in the hand...LOL

I have a lot I need to do today...I want to get started on a quilt...Kris had tons of material and I am sure I can find a lot of pretty prints for Victoria's baby a quilt...

Kenzie had a surprise birthday party for a friend Sat night...Then Sunday morning we had to get up early for church and Mac was tired and cross and said she did not feel well...After we got home she slept all the rest of the day...Then last night Darrel played a 'joke' on her and put a Big...BIG...fake spider in her room..She walked in there and it scared her and she started crying...She came back out to my room and soon was fine....But one of the little kids woke up Darrel and told him Kenzie cried,....so here came Darrel and he said he did not mean to make her cry...and Kenzie said,  ' It's because I don't feel good." So Daddy said if you don't feel good tomorrow you don't have to go to school...I could see her wheels turning....

This morning I woke her up and told her she needed to go because she missed Friday when we toured a college...She did not want to get up but I made her...I told her if she did not have a temp she needed to go...she did not bother to take her temp so I am sure she did not have one...  Anyway there was slamming doors and hateful tones...I got on to her and she said..."Daddy said I did not have to go to school'  I pointed out if she always minded her daddy she had better go put on other clothes because her skirt looked like a head band...and bring me your phone and we will send him a picture of it right now and see what he says...She was nicer after  that...and the skirt was not all that bad...It was below her finger tips a few inches but it was spandex so you know how tight it was...She never wears skirts or dresses to school but this is spirit week and today was dress up day...And her Daddy will have a FIT if he sees it....that is for sure...He even hates tight jeans..
