When you start early...

you can get a lot done in a day.
Today I started a little before 6.
Hannah spent the night with me last night and we got up and took Emily to VollyBall practice. Hannah came back home and went back to bed. I think she got up around 11. She was tired.
Fleta came up and helped me order some Photos for Sister Joyce. Fleta is giving her the book she made tonight. It is beautiful. I have it warped nicely and made her some cards.
Then I went to Berryville and picked up the pictures and 2 or 3 food items.
I also got a bolt and nut to go on Fleta's weed eater I apparently dropped one out that held on the guard. It cost a whopping 65 cents and I put it back on.
I came home and frosted a hummingbird cake I made for church tonight. Boy the house is so hot the cream cheese frosting is sliding off. I stuck it all in the frig and after it cools more I till try to ice it prettier...Then I am popping it in the freezer till we go tonight.
Actually the house has not been so hot for me. It is warm but not so much i feel uncomfortable sitting in front of the fan. Then tonight I will turn on the air in the bedroom and sleep just fine.
I painted another coat of paint on the house, south side and another coat on the east side. It was pretty easy. I am going to have to caulk the south side and then do 1 more coat of paint.
I watered all of the plants this afternoon. I have 2 tomatoes turning ripe but they have bad spots on them...

I sent this picture to my Grand Sons this morning....A friend came to visit this morning....and we sat on the porch and each had a nice cup of coffee.

Snake skin is nasty ...yuck.

It was awful hot to be working outside.

Larry paid Astrid to paint my new door. It really looks great.

Wonder what the boys thought of your snake?
