I am about to give sister one another excellent tip to use...This is the 3rd one this week...1st was (in case she has forgotten) use gloves when picking up goat placenta. 2nd..wear shoes when hiking...3rd...hold the camera up when taking a selfie...her Green Forest selfie made her look like she had a double chin. The things I do to help her.


Last evening I took Emily to her softball game in Harrison. Believe it or not I enjoyed the 2 games. We did not get home till after 10 which is late for me. I did not get to sleep till about 1. But it is not like I have to go to work today...That's a good thing. I am still pretty down and out. But not to worry I am much better than I was.


As I have said JR bought 10 gallons of paint and I would really like to get started painting this house. First I need to caulk cracks and holes. I have caulked before and I certainly am not a pro at it. The caulking tube when opened, is not like cracking open 5 gallons of paint. I should cut the tip off the tube and try my hand at it again. If I get tired I can just put a screw in the end and do more another day. Brother Gilbert said he would help me paint. I should have penned him down on a day and time. Problem is I am not sure when I will feel like doing it. Then again I am not above just pulling up a chair and watching him if I don;t feel well.


Oh goodness...Fleta did send the dead goat off for an autopsy...I could not believe it..What is this world coming to...She would not tell me what it cost. Not that it is any of my business. But it would be much easier to make fun of her if I knew what it cost.


Erin is taking her bunch off to Florida soon for a vacation. I hope she has a great time. Remember stay calm after all you are taking the kids so they will have fun...Remember that when you are ready to pull your hair out.


I have 4 tomato plants that are about ready to bloom. Oh I hope I get some good tomatoes this year. They are protected from the goats. Although I have had to walk down the road to see the goats lately. I do rant about the goats but I do like them. Well, not enough to pay to have one autopsied.


I used some of my apple butter this morning. It made me remember how in August I came up to Clayton's to can apples and just stayed. I have finally gotten used to this place. So far this summer it has been comfortable without air conditioning. I guess it is not really summer yet. In the mornings I am very cool. I wear a jacket when sitting on the porch. Don't get me wrong I am enjoying it. It is hot in AZ right now.


Kris and all of the kids are going to AZ around July 11th. They are all driving down. Not Darrel, he has to work to support it all. HA..They will be staying at Mike's and his wife and with Melissa some. I hope they have the best time and all of the grand kids get to spend time together. I was going to try to go out there for a few days but it is just too much trouble for me. I am to old and not feeling up to it. I would dread the hot almost as much as I dread the cold here.


VBS starts next Sunday at our little Church. I am to help the Preachers wife with treats. I better get some motivation before then. Friday night we have sign up. The Church s making hamburgers. Everyone s to bring a dish. I have not put any thought into that at all.Maybe that noodle salad Winnie Jo made. It went over well. Winnie Jo would you like to make that salad and bring it to me.  Winnie has her hands full I think. That Grandson of hers is having a garage sale to raise money for something special. I have forgotten what. But he is all over it I'll bet.
