It's not Tuesday...

Fleta is right....I planted radishes from seeds Clayton had here...They did not do any good. Then I pulled one up and saw they were white radishes and then knew. We have not been able to grow white radishes any good in a long time...Today they were eaten up with worms...I 7 dusted them...I did not dust most of the lettice, It looked fine..Good thing cause I caught the neighbor up here stealing it earlier!
I cut all of the dead blooms off these geraniums and petunias...Clayton loved petunias. I then threw Miracle Grow down and watered them good. I have black duct tape holding the old kettle together.

Here is Betty's squirrel feeder. I have a lot of squirrels that play in this tree. As they jump through the trees it sounds like a cow in tramping around in the bushes.. I wanted this feeder here cause I can see it from inside the house and the front porch. I was not able to brace it on a limb as it should be. I need to build a L shape  brace under it...I will when I feel better.

Just the front of the house. Years ago when Daddy drove me past his old home birth place he would say, 'There ought to be a flag flying there.' Even when I was not paying attention to the road when I heard him say that I knew where we were. Betty and I have a flag flying over where we were born! HA
Couldn't get Pat's tree in the last picture.

I am very proud of these. Daddy at one time had some good grape vines here. But brush, Brother, drought, goats, and my little burning off trash last year almost did them in...I have 6 plants coming up mostly from old roots..
Only this one is coming off an old limb...I will water them this summer and I put Miracle grow on them...If I can keep the goats off them someone day, someone who lives here will have grapes again.
My 4 tomato plants got a good soaking today, fertilized and steaks around them. The goats will be kept out...But I can only hope for tomatoes. I do not have Pat's green thumb.
When Clayton lived here he let the grass grow over the rock. I used to come here and pull the grass  from around it. It was the only way Mom was able to go outside.
Yesterday I put this up on the bedroom wall. It is not to pretty..But it was cheap and will allow me to cool my bedroom with a small air conditioner at night. If I get to hot in the day I will just go in there and sit awhile with it on. I do not think I will need to. I think a jug of ice water and Pat's shade tree will be fine for me.
And just one more thought for the day. I was thinking earlier about Uncle Floyd's cattle guard he had in the road down on the hill between Dad's place and his. We need a goat guard between Fleta's and here...Trouble is the goats might come here through the pasture then try to get home down the road and just stay here....really I have not seen them up here in a few weeks...Maybe they finally like the hill.

I love how you fixed the bedroom division. I think it will work.

I have a fever blister. Did not feel well so I guess I am sick.

Love the flag. Where did you get it.
