It's Friday Fleta...

in case you forgot...


Daarrel cut down another tree in the yard. This one was not so big...the biggest part was just over a foot across I would say .  But we did have a pile of limbs abd brush with it. I got it all burned yesterday...But it did take me all day. It took me an hour just to drag it all over to the burn pit. I started burning at 10 and quit at 4.


Then I had to shower and take Amanda to swim lessons. She did even better than last time,


Tonight we are going to family swim. So she can hone her skills as Betty says.


Mike had an ingrown toe nail cut out yesterday and as it happens Darrel is staying home today so I am letting him tend to everything this morning. I have things to do out here.


Amanda's Birthday party is 1 week from today. She is having a spa themed party. I have got to make 6 towel wraps. I have the new towels but I think I need elastic and Velcro. Kris probably has some but I doubt if she has enough. I will check with her before she leaves for work. I also need to decorate 6 pair of flip flops and make a pinata. Plus a balloon wreath ( but that has to be the day of) and I am hanging plastic table cloths from the ceiling down to the floor to cover up all of the piled junk out here then doing streamers across the ceiling and down to the floor..  We will have a blast. It starts at 5...We are going to have a fire out in the pit, eat hot dogs and make smores...Maybe play some hide and seek. Then we are going to the pool swimming. I will shower all of the girls there...HA no mess in my bathroom...then back here for the spa part...after nails and facials giggles and fun...we will have finger food snacks including a chocolate fountain for dipping strawberries and other fruits and marshmallows...and then it is movie time. I am making a nail polish bottle cake...We have a queen bed and queen futon out here it should be plenty of room for 6 little girls...Kenzie is the party coordinator so when it gets time for the movies I can go into her room and go to bed...I thought that was a good plan...So I do have a little to do this week especially since I do not move as fast as I used to...At one time I could have made all of the party favors, cake, and decorated in 1 day...But not anymore..


So today I am making the wraps... My to do list!


Winnie Jo I hope you are feeling good and getting pampered..You need it and deserve it... Bet you could use a spa day..
We are having pretty weather here. I thought I saw a bad front moving back across AR and Mo but I'm not sure when...Guess I will look again..


Got a ticket back to AR ...be home April 11...
