as a well diggers butt! Outside anyway....I am warm in my house.
I left for church this morning at 9:15... When I stepped outside I saw it was blowing snow...I went back inside to hitch a ride with Fleta but she had all ready left. So I got ole red out and started down the road. I got to Dan's and backed up and turned around to come back home. I called JR and he said this snow was not going to amount to anything and I would make it just fine. So I turned back around and headed on. When I was at the top of the Meek hill I turned around again....Then I decided to go on to Coin...It is only about 3 miles. I decided if I got over there and it got bad George would drive my rig home and I could ride with Fleta. But all was well....No snow accumulation and no problems...Blessed Me.... I may even go back tonight.
Fleta is 67 today....She is the oldest one of us left. She's not that much older than I. When I am trying to recall something she is not much help...Not like asking Patsy or Richard something. They remembered before I was even born. Richard really did remember and Patsy was not to be outdone, so if she did not remember she made something up. Even that made me feel better. Clayton was not a lot of help in the remembering department. He was very quick to state, "I don't know." He may just as well said...'I don't know and I don't care. ' He never spent a lot of time worrying about the past. He was not the story teller Richard was. That did not stop me from asking Clayton anyway. Sometimes after I asked Clayton a question I would hurriedly say..."and don't say, I don't know. Think about it." Now we just have Fleta to ask.You might say we're in piss-poor-shape.
It is so cold I do not think I will be walking today. I am not sure if Fleta will or not. I may just lay around on the couch with a book. I'll bet Winnie Jo is really cold up where she is at. Stay warm!

Today I was thinking .....I would like to hear Patsy's short, seep voice again! Never get to call her to ask something
Unlike clayton she had something to say about everything! I miss the both! Clayton had a way of making u feel better without really saying much. He was a good listener.
We are all old.
