Betty...

It's hot inside tonight. I looked and It was 69 on your couch...31 outside. I had on one of the stoves in L/R all day. It was set on high. The one in the bathroom was on low. I turned the one in the L/R to low 2 hours ago. Thank you Betty and Erin for the stoves.

I did have on the electric stove this morning. I cooked a pot of Black eye peas. I put hog jowl and ham in them. I also made a pan of cornbread. I think both were as good as Clayton ever  made. I shared with Fleta. Hope her bunch likes them.

I hauled off bottles and cans I picked up along the road. I also dug all of the tin cans out of my burn barrel and hauled them off. I put a bird feeder out with cracked corn. I hung it on the porch edge. I do not know if birds will eat from it this close to the house.

I took Hannah and Robert to Church last night. They have Bible study Wednesday evenings. The kids really enjoyed it.  There were a bunch of kids there. Some I had not seen before.

I cleaned house today.  I moped all of the floors and burned the trash. I also picked up limbs on  the road and put them in by Burn box. It started to rain a little this afternoon. It did not stop the crazy walking lady on the Douglas road. I think it had stopped raining when she walked.

She is looking for a pair of wadding boots that are comfortable to walk in...Good luck, Fleta.

I have watched movies on my lap top today. guess I should try to go to sleep. I took my shower at 7 but I have not laid down yet.

It was a beautiful morning. I loved getting outside and doing a little work. I also played with the horse today. Tomorrow I clean the church. I even enjoy that. We really do have the nicest preacher. I think he is a really good man. And I just love his wife. She reminds me of Mamma.

Life is good today.

You know a preacher who is a great speaker is often not a good man. I will take the good man over the orator.

I have been crocheting. Making Astrid an infinity scarf.

Glad you are warm.

Hope Fleta can find some boots. I sent her card.

Those little heaters work pretty well where the house is insulated. Not long until you go on your trip and spring will be here soon.

I enjoy Bible study. I have the Bible on cassette type if you all want it. I have two sets...one the entire Bible and one just the New Testament with James Earl Jones reading. It is so good. But I would have to find it and you would have to have a cassette player.
