At The Big M....

Darrel and Kris go out with a friend every Sunday morning. They make Kenzie look after all of the little ones that morning. Last night I told Darrel to spring for breakfast and I would take the grand kids (little ones) to the big M. They have free wifi here.....This morning after I had been here for an hour I asked and they also gave me a free plug in... I may be here all day. The kids are playing away. They say they never get to play very long....I told them today we will  stay till they are ready to leave...This may become a regular. I do not care for the Big M...but with Internet I can sit here as well as I can sit at home.

I loved the shot Fleta posted of the hill. But the red barn...REALLY?  There will only be one red barn. And it is called the NEW red barn BTW.

Ages ago in Oct. of 81 Mike decided he was going to Kansas and work in the oil fields and get rich. He left and I had to close his mechanic shop. I remember we even had cars he was in the middle of working on and I had to call the people to come and pick them up. I also had to put all of his equipment and parts in our garage at our rented house in GF. As I remember uncle Kenny helped me a lot. Probably Clayton too.

We were pretty hard up at that time. I remember Clayton came over to check on me almost every morning. It was several weeks before I got any money from Mike. I was pregnant with Bill at the time. I remember once we had no milk and I had no money. I did not have enough gas to get to Daddy's to get free milk. I think Clayton brought me some. Betty was right we could always count on Clayton.

Mike talked Tony into going to KS with him and they rented a dumpy trailer there. When they came home in Dec. for Christmas I found out Mike had been going to bars and running around. Mike told me. Then I think Tony told Pat and he decided or Pat decided Tony was not going back. I think he thought that might make Mike stay home since he could not afford to pay for the rent on the trailer by himself. I almost  left Mike then but we decided I would move up to KS with him. I do remember Clayton Moved me up there and we had truck trouble around Cassville. It may have been trailer trouble. But Brother fixed it.

I have always had a soft spot for ole Tony but after that I even thought more of him. Even at age 19 he had better morals than Mike. He has always had a good heart.  I love him lots.
