Light Dusting Of Snow...

I woke up this morning to Amanda beating on my door yelling., 'Granny it's snowed!' I looked outside and there was just the smallest amount of dusting on the ground!

I went out and opened the chicken's door. Usually they run over me to get out but not this morning. They were very cautious. Some of them have not even left the pen. I need to go out and break the ice...or take hot water which is what I usually do.

 The trees are so pretty with just a dusting of snow. It is still snowing but honestly you can count the flakes as they fall. So I don't think it will amount to much.

 Here are some chickens still in the pen an hour later..The white container (clear) is what I am watering them in since their drip one has been frozen for several days.

 

Kris is taking all of the kids skating today for Kenzie's Birthday...It is tomorrow but she has school. She will be 15 and she starts her drivers ed class in about a week...Clear the roads..

 

Hope we did not get to much snow at home and everyone is fine...I am sure Winnie is still froze up..
