It's Friday...

I have been busy with doctors, insurance things and stuff like that.  But I about have it all taken care of for awhile...At least I hope.

I am doing a load of laundry now and making Spaghetti...with French bread. I also have a pumpkin pie..

Fleta told me a few weeks ago that some good cook she knew added V8 juice to pinto beans...well I have tried it twice ad had to throw the beans out...I think she is full of beans! Not only that but V8 makes the best Bloody Mary's...So using V8 for beans is a real waste I have decided.

I went to the cancer Dr yesterday ...all is well she wants me back in Feb to see the Nurse practitioner and then in May to see her...I think I will make a new appointment somewhere between Feb. and May to see just the doc...No scans are planned...

I have been feeling much better since I have taken 2 magic pills in the last 2 weeks...maybe it is all in my head..But regardless. I have decided to just live with it..

Greg texts me 2 days ago and said my house was still there ...I had to laugh...Just out of the blue and that was all he said..I said 'good"..

Off to see Kris on the 4th of Dec...It is cold there they say.. Darrel may be gone a lot during that time.

Thanksgiving is next week. I have a turkey.

Then Missy and Benjamin will decorate for Christmas...

It has been raining here since yesterday and since we are a desert I imagine we will be flooded soon...LOL

Benjamin and I were looking forward to having a fire pit fire in the back yard tonight but I guess not since it is raining..

I should take a pix or 2 but it sounds like too much trouble..

Winnie Jo I am anxiously awaiting a pix of  your Christmas tree this year..Miss ya!

patsy take care of yourself...don't let this cold weather make you sick..

I miss my Sister Betty...We are VERY different. Betty is educated and I am not.
She has raised 2 very great kids and loves those Grand kids but want to be able to send them home when she is tired. I always wanted them around to make sure they were cared for and happy. LOL Betty saves money and I can not, or do not, save a dime.  I do think we are more alike now than we used to be but she is still much nicer than me. You do not have to be blood for Betty to take care of you..or feel sorry for you...She did Hospice for awhile...Shoot me before I do that...Yes someone needs to do it but NOT me...I could NEVER do that...only for blood relatives...

Good to hear what you are doing. You spoke of all sisters but me.

I love you, Helen. Glad you think I am good for really I am a pretty evil person. Hope the Lord can help me do right. The Hospice was 20 years ago...don't think we can count that. As far as raising two good girls, I have decided the Lord blessed me with them and it was nothing of my doing. I hope you have some good times ahead and the rest of the sisters eo too.

Our youngest daughter will be done with her nursing classes here in Dec. So once she sets for the State Boards Test and passes, and she should she's an A and B student, she'll be an RN. She's applying for a job tomorrow in the oncology dept. at the hospital where she has been working as a PCT. She volunteered at Hospice when she was around 19, but had to give it up when she started working full time. She would help feed the patients and read to some of them. She seemed to enjoy that very much. Good luck with your health and family. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. First I've been around for a while, I'm usually on Face Book.
