Historical Campaign Ad: Windsurfing (Bush-Cheney '04)
It is amazing but I did have this one right...Pat posted a pix of Kerry on the water when he was supposed to be working and I said when is he going to learn he just needs to stay off the water.I remembered this add. Oh it was awful to watch at the time. You had to admit he did flip flop a lot...too bad Romney did not wind surf.....but I did find a pix where someone had put Romney's face on Kerry's body on this add...
All is well here.
I did get a paper from United Health care. That is who I have my Medicare through. This was for the day I went to my MD and they drew blood and took x rays...I am so glad she did not have to do all of the work in her office but sent me to a hospital to get the blood and x rays. To be truthful I rarely look at these bills. It always makes me upset in one way or another but I did look at this one..The total bill was just over 1800. for Dr. visit and x ray and labs... Medicare paid about 225. for that work. My Access..or what could be called Medicaid picked up another 30 bucks which if I did not have I would have to of paid. This paid my bill in full. Patsy gets mad at the Doctors because they just look for things to make a buck to have Medicare pay. I get so mad at the insurance companies for paying the Doctors and Labs so little.
Here is why.. At the doctors office first I had to call a scheduler to make an appointment. I saw that same gal when she checked me in. She weighed me and took me to a room. A nurse came in and took my vitals and information. Then I saw the Doctor. Upon leaving I had to see the check out gal who handed me the prescription to have blood drawn and x rays. This was written by the Doc. ..Then I went to the hospital which is really not in the hospital but is connected with Banner Hospital. there I signed in and a gal pulled my records and handed that to another gal who spoke to me, took my insurance info, filled out why I was there and then handed me off to a gal who took me to a room. There a Tech drew 5 voles of blood which had to be processed and read. By someone.. then he took me to x ray. The tech took me in and did an x ray on my foot taking 3 different poses of my foot...which someone had to read. a day later the gal from my doctors office had to call me back with results which the lab sent to them. For all of that especially since all of those people had to attend to me ...and you all know how pleasant I am... lab people, Doctors, attendees only got 235. BTY may I add in this 110 degree heat, all of the buildings were very cool...The entire 235 would not have paid to cool that large building here I had the labs done for even 1 day. Unless the insurance companies also have a finger in the electric companies...Then I am sure the insurance companies barter a good deal with the Electric companies.
I will receive at least 4 more insurance claims before this month is over. Be glad I will probably just circular file them without opening them.

If they agree to take you under Medicare/Medicaid...then they as a Dr or group of Drs have agreed to take you as a patient for whatever Medicare pays...so, don't give it another thought...Mike and I carry a plan that is a tie in with AARP...I never pay a dime anymore except for Px..we go generic or nothing with mess...It is really all a racket and I am glad Pres Obama and Hillary have begun the process of addressing the whole mess
yes you have that added care that picks up after what Medicare pays...in many states it is ordered the states have to offer that supplemental care for a price...AZ does not have to offer that options to people and I can not buy it in AZ at any price even if I could afford it...I too live in a very hard Rep. state
