In Hot springs an inmate escaped through an open window at the jail. He was picked up by swat earlier on 26 different counts. He escaped to the parking lot where a car and driver was waiting....AND then it said they believe someone was involved in this jail break besides just the inmate.....I say...MAYBE it was the person waiting in the get away car...Ya think..
Then I read this morning a school between Betty`s house and Little Rock is arming teachers with guns in the school. I just can not wrap my head around that idea. Someone even said no one will know who is carrying the guns...I imagine within the first week every student will know who has the guns. It is dumb to think they will not know. Maybe if Sister Betty was still a teacher she could take her 22 to school. I am just beside myself with that thought.
Benjamin is with his Dad all this week. It is the longest time he has been away from his Mother EVER... It is not a good time had by all. His first day of school is August 7th.
Kris has almost all of her kids school stuff bought. Considering she has 4 that is a lot. We 3 racked up $60.00 credit at Staples Rewards (By turning in her empty ink cartridges) when I was back there in June. They get `special` stuff there that the big kids like better than just at Wal mart. They will shop there this weekend. I imagine Kenzie will end up with most of the stuff cause Michael will not care.
It is HOT...HOT...HOT here and that is the weather report...probably for the next month..

We did not even have a policeman when I worked at Middle school. Now they have one. He is a nice presence. I would have to carry my 410...that is the only gun I own. Larry got it for me. Clarksville, AR is training and arming teachers. I know lots of teachers who I would not want to have a gun. I sort of think this is all ridiculous. I call it backlash. All from the school shooting.
I will trim the mint. I have grown it once in my life and it took over an entire area! but where I have the Fleta mint I think I can contain it.
