I am thinking that Winnie Jo posts more than me these days...

Today is Kris's Birthday. She was born in 76 so she is 37..

 I took Kris's best girlhood friends kids to VVL today...They have stayed in touch since 5th grade. I just love her. She has always been the best girl. Now she has a daughter that is the same age as Kenzie and a son that is 6.  The boy had never been to a beach. Boy did he have a blast. He had sand from head to toe.. We stayed about 4 hours. I bought Pizza and we took all sorts of drinks, fruit, and snacks. t was a blast. It was  a little overcast today so you did not feel like you were in a furnace. Benjamin was SOOOO good. OOPS I italicized. Oh well.

Anyway we are home. I have the fan shooting directly on me. Benjamin has all ready had his shower and all is right with the world. LOL

We made strawberry cupcakes this morning.  Benjamin loves cup cakes.

The yard needs to be mowed very badly. Maybe I will do that after a little while. But I am not holding my breath on it.
So I have had my shower now and cooled off and I thought of a funny that happened today..

Margie's little boy is 6 and he calls me Granny See as most of Benjamin's friends do. We were swimming in the pool and we swam by an older lady...Maybe my age or maybe a little older...She looked anorexia. I do not think it was cancer because she was well tanned and just was ungodly thin... As we were going past her I thought, OM Goodness and they say you can never be too rich or too thin... I think Margie's little boy was thinking along those lines because out of the blue he said..."Granny See, you are fat but you sure are pretty." I thanked him and we just kept swimming on past that lady. I am sure she heard but I doubt if she thought it had any relevance to her...
