Wilford Owen Peden, age 69 of Enon, AR passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013
at his home in Omaha. The son of Ira and Delta (Besse) Peden was born March 11,
1944 in Enon, AR.
Wilford served in the United States Navy for 4 years
during the Vietnam Conflict. Later he worked as an operational engineer (heavy
equipment) for International Union Local 3 as well as other unions until his
retirement. Around1970 he moved to his old home place in Enon Community. Wilford
enjoyed spending time on different creative projects that he invented and
teaching “life lessons” to his sons. He especially enjoyed spending time with
his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Peden of Omaha, Lonnie
Peden and wife Cauline of Montana, 5 grandchildren, Jacie Peden, Kevin-Michael
Peden, Eris Peden, Rylan Peden and Jordan Bonnar as well as her daughter,
Bailey, brothers; Jackie Peden of Blue Eye, Billy Peden of Oak Grove, Joe Benny
Peden of Green Forest and one sister, Sandy Peden of Pryor,Oklahoma.
Wilford
is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Delta Peden.
Celebration of
Life will be 10:30 AM Monday, June 17th at Old Enon Cemetery with Pastor Freddie
Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Enon. Visitation is 5-7 PM Sunday,
June 16th at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest, AR.

I remember when Billy's mom got bit by a spider. She could not walk. A huge place just rotted out of her leg. I guess we went to see her or I would not recall it so. She really had a hard time.
When I burned my back, Billy came on horseback with some of kids to check on me. Funny how we remember certain things and forget so much. I don't think you have forgotten as much as me! lol
I think Venita Terherst and these kids were first cousins. I think her mother was Ira's sister!
