Were all of you wondering?
Day before yesterday I watched a deer all day..And I do mean all day! Yesterday I sewed all day. Kris got her new machine and I am breaking it id...It sews like a dream and it has an automatic thread cutter and automatic needle threader...Both work great...Plus it has the option of always stopping with the needle down...And when you start sewing it always locks the first and last stitch...I made about a dozen aprons yesterday....I made 3 for teachers, and pot holders to match...The kids teachers will love them.
The needle threader is a life saver for me. It is so hard to thread a needle anymore. I guess Winnie Jo is having none of that problem now! Yeah!
Everything I read said the needle threaders are cumbersome. Not this one. One touch and it is in...Walla!
today I am sewing some more. I am having to finish one for Laura's girls and Winnie Jo's. They are both made from denim and I needed a 16 needle. It was breaking all of the other ones. So today we will see if with a strong needle it will sew over several thick denim seams. I hope it does and if not I would strongly consider returning it. Everyone needs to be able to hem a pair of jeans and sew through that top stitched thick seam in a pair of jeans.
Clay, I am making you an apron this morning. I know you will be so proud! Pink and ruffled I figure...What do you think!
Connie Webb called me and she has my check and has called Clayton to come and get a turkey painting I bought for Clayton that she has painted. I hope you like it, Brother.
Time to sew.
