Cause I know he is checking the blogs first....and I hate to tell you sisters but he does not read half of what we write....He says he skims...I think he skips!
I got on MSN before I posted to make sure OK was still on the map. It is but may be floating away soon. There is enough lumber laying on the ground, every person can make a barge to float on. Have you ever seen such a mess. Rhea said Joplin was just as bad a few years ago. I do not remember it being this bad. The older I get the more things seem bad.
On the net this morning I did take a detour to watch the 12 best ad jingles ever. I heard the, 'I wish I was an Oscar Meyer winner." and "plop, plop, fizz, fizz. " but the one I had forgotten was McDonald's...years ago the ad shows a team of employees cleaning it up spic and span...singing 'So get up and get away..." It is a far cry from clean these days...Somewhere between the door and the order station you will be stepping over some trash...and do not even attempt to use a bathroom there....
Kris and Darrel went to a movie last night and out to eat I think. I stayed with the kids. Sometime after 10 Kris came in to check on me and the kids and sat down a new iron and said something like, 'Don't ruin this one.' I was not even offended...Plus I was half asleep...Maybe she said something like...You are such a good mother for taking care of my kids...They both mean the same to me...LOL
This morning Kris and Darrel are meeting some friends to eat breakfast. The little ones here will be watching TV. I think me and the big ones will finish the front yard...Maybe. We put down about 3 yards of bark yesterday but there was a small spit 3' SQ that still needed to be lowered. Darrel tilled it up last night. We need to shovel it out and lay down that grass cloth and shovel the rest of the bark on it. It is a strip about 3' wide narrowing to nothing in a 6' length...Pie shaped.. He also tilled up all of the grass around the garden and we need to get that picked up.
On face book Connie Webb posts paintings she is working. She is quiet the painter anymore. Clayton she paints animals. She did one of a wild turkey and several lions and tigers and things like that. They are quiet good. She sells them I think.
Sister Betty will be a year older soon. Only 4 years ahead of me but for 2 months she is 5 years older than me. She is old...Well I hear a chicken laid. I guess I could open the cage do
Oh yes, and baby Jake has named me the Grand-a-natter I am not sure why.
