A Little Under the Weather..Update...

But I am feeling better today.

Since I have been home it has been a constant trail to doctors and tests. Yesterday I had a PET scan. I figure I have had around 30 of these since the cancer. Yesterday they made me stay till they could make sure the pictures were all good. This was a new thing for me.. I imagine it was just a new unsure tech but of course my mind went off the grid that they saw something and wanted to make sure they had a good shot of it. Anyhoo...I see the cancer doc July 1 and will know by then.

The foot is healing but I am still careful with it. I am not wearing the boot except the day I mowed the yard but I went with Missy to Walmart Sunday and walked around and it swelled and hurt. She of course said...You should have worn your boot...Me I say, I should have stayed home.

This morning the boy has swim lessons. I always dread getting up, dressed and to the pool...Yet I have a good time once I am there. Benjamin has been a very good boy since I have been home. And I have got to see Austin and the 3 of us had a blast for a few days.  He is still so close to my heart and he really missed me. He has so many siblings combined on both sides and he is the oldest and does not feel he gets enough special attention.

Amanda would call me every day if they would let her, When I call she is always happy to talk to me and boy  she has stories to tell all of the time.  Last talk she told me she had caught Flapper...One of the younger chickens that is not so tame...and everyone held her. Amanda said she is really learning to be a better chicken. But you still have to stroke her beak to calm her down....I will not be stroking her beak...I would rather hold one of those snakes that Betty has been killing,

I have stripped my bed and I am washing all of my bedding. This includes my down comforter. I am thinking I might be able to talk Benjamin into running down the stairs and bring me the clothes out of the dryer. He is reading this over my shoulder.

Kenzie is still going to her class. Kris is taking her to a 13 day class that she gets high School credit for. It is a 25 mile round trip every day but Kenzie is loving it.

Benjamin and I have been watering  some places in the back yard. We have sprinklers but they need the heads replaced,,,We even have the heads but have not done it so we have been going outside and squirting water in the yard in the dry spots and it has really helped. It is looking so much better.  I need to find the Miracle grow and put on the plants.  BTW Melissa did not kill my mint. It is coming back. Maybe the Rosemary will make it too I am not sure. The Basil planted in the yard is doing good. It got enough water from the sprinklers...But 5 pots of flowers bit the dust... I have replanted 2. We will see how they do.  The dog made it while I was gone. All is not lost. Melissa told her friend at work.."If you can not ask for food and water at my house. You may not live."

Took Benjamin to swim team...Went to the grocery store. Made spaghetti for lunch, and dinner because Benjamin loves it and I could care less what we have. Mom has to work really late tonight so I am in charge. We watered the back yard and then...TADA....we cleaned Benjamin's room! What a job.

I have now had a shower.

I talked to Clayton he is freezing peaches and blackberries...FLETA!

I can not believe how tan I am considering on the 11th I was snow white.

Melissa won a BIG plant at work...She does not know what it is except it is a house plant, it is tall and big and has a beautiful pot...I guess we will see when she  gets home..

I was getting slow so I am finishing my pot of coffee I made this  morning. Betty would not like that but it does not bother me.

I think I told you I cleaned up my room some and gave a bunch of scrap book stuff to Austin's Mom and I found my address book and my wireless mouse...I was so glad to find both!

Rhea and Marvin are going to be in Vegas in July. I am  going to see them there. I am so excited.
