Teacher Appreciation week

at school and Kris is in charge of the PTA,So she has worked her tail off doing things. BTW we added up the donations I got donated to the teachers and it is 1200 in gift cards and merchandise...

But that is off  track. Kris has been working for 3 days making door decorations for every teacher's door at Amanda and Jake's school. They were really cute and all 22 were different made with colored paper to cover the door and then decorations pot on each one...such as  on one she made this big 5' Starbucks cup and used white tissue paper wadded up in the top and covered the tissue paper with Saran wrap and wrote.." Ms. Renolds thanks a "LATTE" for all you do...They were all cute like that. The teachers liked them but what I was not expecting was all of the KIDS LOVED THEM! There were places for each kid in that Teacher's class to sign the paper..

I was there this morning just after Kris and the other ladies got them all on the Teacher;s doors and all of the kids were signing their names and just going on and on about how great they were..

So tonight Amanda and I were sitting outside on the swing and we had this conversation,,

Me.. Amanda, Did you just love the door decorations your mama made for your school?
Amanda.. Yes, they were so great I just loved them.
Me...what did all of the kids say to you?
Amanda...Oh, they said, Amanda, I just love your blouse, Where did you get it? It is so beautiful! I told them I did not know. I just have boxes of clothes that show up at my house and I have no idea where they come from. And the girls were all mad saying, ah shoot we want to buy one just like it and I said I am so sorry but I just do not know where it came from.
