Benjamin's Big Day....

Benjamin being his typical good boy at school. Today is a half day and the last day of school...

Even though he is standing on a hill he is the 2nd tallest boy in all of Kindergarten.

Here he has on his 'I'm in first grade now' badge....

Here is the principal....She is sprinkling all of the Kindergartners with 1st grade Fairye dust...



And here's Benjamin getting dusted....He will be a big First grader next year! His Teacher and all of his class mates will be moving to first grade together....

Every day when the Grand Kids get home from School I take them around to see what I have done that day like stacking all of the wood, filling the dirt bin, chopping all of the stick piles, taking out all of the trash, and picking up the yard....These are chores my Grand Kids usually have to do so it is sort of a favor to them that I do these things...The first day I showed them what I had done they said 'Thank you!' I told them that was not enough they had to SAY SOMETHING APPROPRIATE LIKE, 'oooohhh, ahhhhh, ooooohhh, aHHHHH, WHAT A GOOD JOB...THIS LOOKS GREAT...MARVELOUS, GRANNY... So now each day they oooohhh and ahhhh appropriate because they are grateful I have done something for them.....

Anyway...yesterday I found out Benjamin was getting dusted and no one was there to take his picture so last minute I called Kimmie and asked her to go to the school and take his picture. Remember she does have 2 other little ones to tote around. But she did go to school and get some great pictures of the boy....So for Kimmie...'OOOHHHH, AAAAHHHH, OOOOHHHH, AAAAHHH....GREAT JOB KIMMIE...THANK YOU!
