Benjamin and Melissa raked up the leaves in the back yard. Look at the color on them. Benjamin jumped in them and played awhile. Even I jumped in them...
Then we met Bill and Kimmie and the 3 kids at Peter Piper Pizza and had a little Birthday Party for Austin. I got him a Nerf gun and Benjamin got him a billfold and some cash. The boy loves cash... We had a fun time.
Then we came home and Austin got to spend the afternoon with Benjamin. We had to take him home at 6:30. We made truffles, Banana Bread, peanut butter cookies, and Cinnamon rolls. Notice the Reindeer Truffles. They were a little hard to get just right, breaking the pretzels to look like antlers. But we made about 24. I took a basket to Austin's Mom for Austin and her other 2 kids, and I took 2 to Bill to take to work this morning. Or he could eat one and take one to work. Then this morning I have a whole oven full of buns and cinnamon rolls for 3 teachers at Benjamin's school. One basket is for Benjamin's teacher and Missy got her a Christmas Angel, a super soft scarf set, and a gift card, Benjamin will be so pleased to give her the presents. I am also making a food basket for Kenzie's last year teacher, Mr Hardy and one for Bills 3rd grade teacher that still works there, Ms. Simpson.
